I would love, to have the primaries upset, and see John Kerry and Mitt Romney, come out as the nominees. I would vote for either of them now, which, in the case of Romney, would be the first Republican vote from me.

I appreciate, that all of you here have your held opinions, however they differ from mine, and I appreciate the different paths we take to reach out voting choices. My time in the military was difficult, and as such, the price I paid to defend these things we hold, and our constitution.
I think a lot of people feel the exact same way, I know I do. In 2016 I found myself voting with a “who will do the least amount of damage to the country?” attitude, and that was definitely Trump over Hillary Clinton for me. I can’t imagine the amount of damage Hillary would have done to the country and the the things I care about. I agree with Trump on some things and disagree on others, but the democrats seem like they’re going to leave me with no choice but to vote Trump in 2020. I truly believe that if any of them are elected they’ll destroy the country worse than I could have imagined that Hillary Clinton would have.

He is your President that Democrats are attempting to railroad with secret inquiries they HOPE will lead to an impeachment process - because they cannot accept the election results that Hillary wanted to be respected - that will ultimately end in failure.

The left wants to have their show hearings and sadly the masses dont know that the Democrats have failed in several prior impeachment votes, therefore they are not currently impeaching President Trump. It’s just show for their base. For anyone on the fence just look at what’s being proposed in Virginia. If you vote Democrat that is your future. Freedom or tyranny, that is the choice we have.

This is constitutional due process, and you’re affinity for the subject, does not make it a railroad, it’s not ‘secret inquiries’, this IS the impeachment process. Bury your head in all the same you want, but this is the due process, which he is entitled to, the same due process, I will remind many of you, he has not only called for denying us before taking our guns, but is seeing put into practice with red flag laws.
Moving the goal posts, from ‘these are secret inquiries’ to ‘I don’t like what’s come to light so I’m gonna call them fake show hearings’ is a really increasingly desperate double down fallacy, feel free to look it up. If, you claim to be so deeply beholden to the Constitution, then you should not place the cult of personality over the constitutional process taking place, and it is that, a constitutional process, and responsibility of Congress.
That’s a fair and good point……(and was one of the points I adamantly disagreed with him on). I’ve said it in other posts…I’m nervous if any “gun control” legislation actually makes it to his desk…as I’m not confident he would veto it.
You might want to do YOUR research. It’s NOT the process. There was no vote to impeach and the hearings WERE secret. As far red flag laws or blanket acceptance of Trump… nobody said that.

Trump has proven to support a conservative agenda from judges to taxes so why wouldn’t I support him. The never Trumper crowd is only going to give us Biden or another anti-freedom socialist. Get over it.
I’m certain that you can go right now, and watch the testimonies from the past couple weeks, from the inquiries, that were made public after it was voted to do so, following the rules, that were agreed upon, and even in the classified testimonies, Republicans were participants, and transcripts have and are coming out, and the inquiries are moving to the judiciary committee, again, part of the discovery and finding, IMPEACHMENT inquiry process, due process, which if still warranted will move to the Senate for trial. Play whatever kaleidoscope distortion of things you need to, to cling to that cult of personality, but don’t pretend to hold the Constitution as high and holy if you step on it when you’re guy who has to be reminded by a federal judge that Presidents are not Kings, are held accountable to it’s powers.

No, I’m just a 38 year old wife and mom, who has lived all over this country, served in the military, and feels California more than anywhere else is home. Who has her CCW, and goes to the range and trains, owns guns and values the second amendment, but I value protection from religious discrimination as well. LGBTQ and minority protections. I feel abortion is a right and bodily autonomy is a women’s right. You don’t get to scare quote my military service. I won’t judge yours, but you don’t get to invalidate mine like that either.
I see what the GOP is doing as taking away rights, violating the Constitution. Deporting veterans. Seizure of property without due process. Stop and Frisk. Internment camps of specific races. You have Trump telling you he’s gonna take your guns, and give no due process, that violation of two constitutional rights. It’s happening, but you think I’m, deluded, or trolling. No friend. I started the thread, to look for other USCCA members who are not Trump supporters. There was no reason to direct this into personal attacks for it. It’s no different than saying hey, any members from East Texas? It deserves no malice, so, c’mon. Actually, nothing Federally has been brought before the President so at this point it’s all at the State level laws (although I agree with you that it’s a violation). But here is the challenge that I see you have. Every candidate on the left has said the same thing but to a more extreme level at least Trump was talking primarily about EPOs situations vs just coming and taking our guns away even without EPOs.
