Expensive setup.
Same, my wife won’t even touch one,
So is that around 100, or does it hold 100 bullets¿
That is an amazing story! Scary to think that the war comes home to you.
Stay vigilant, stay safe and thank you and your family for your service!
Karacal: Nice! Clamp two of those babies together! A SEAL timed the difference with & without a mag coupler. He save about 2.5 or more seconds per mag swap-out. On the other hand, he reviewed pros & cons. He makes valid points, as I would expect any SEAL to do; like … weight! And really, where do you put them? Tactical vests won’t hold them. Still … 200 rounds instantly available? Bye bye bad guys & gals!
Ron43xMOS: If you’re patient, wait for holiday sales, hunt-down coupon codes, sign-up to receive emails from the seller, etc. it makes a big difference in $$ outlays! Hope this helps; remember, one accessory at a time distributes cost nicely along the budget trail. .
Joseph161: My wife wouldn’t touch one BUT that event changed her! Anyone who has had someone who actually wanted to hurt or kill them understands, suddenly, what that feels like and how it brings the reality of extremely evil people right to your heart & soul! She looked at me and said, “I’m ready! I never felt anything like that before!”, or words to that effect.
Maybe I should hire someone to scare MY wife…
Just kidding for those who think I’m serious.
Look for real-life incidents, brief and to the point. Example: A fellow USAF Civilian Simulator Instructor Pilot’s wife was in the Stone Oak area (nice, affluent area) of San Antonio, Texas. She got into her car at a nice store’s lot but did not shut and lock the door immediately. (My guess is she wasn’t too alert walking out to the car, either.) A man grabbed, her, pulled her out, jumped-in and drove away. The seatbelt harness still had her entangled and her drug her down 410 south for a mile and 1/2. 1,5 miles!
Find those short reels that show events to everyday women like her, to children, etc. Try to find incidents near you; use police blotters and searches. Don’t overdo it but keep the psych-warfare going, lol.
Prayin g that if she ever needs a weapon, her mind will make the necessary sound decision(s).
Remember, if she ever comes to the point she wants a weapon, do buy her training if you can afford it, or take care to do so yourslef; patently and with love. Equating things with love … like I say, "I want you to know that what I am doing is a great big, ‘I love you!’. Hey, I’m 68 and after 42 years with this woman, even my dense skull has learned a few things. I think the first LTC class we attended together helped her realize she could meet new friends at the range, too; and it’s a great thing to enjoy together! Beats sitting home doing the same old things all the time. Recommend the cooler morning times in summer, or evenings. Don’t forget mosquito control, lol.
Or just show her that Hillary meme…
Just wanting to scare, not traumatize…
You two are TWISTED !
(I Like that!)
If my Sister caught wind of me JOKING like that
she’d use my own Back Hoe against me
(But @ least she’d finish me off before throwing me
in the ditch not like Joe Pesci in CASINO), Buried alive w/ his Brother)
That scene always gives me chills!
‘What was that? Take out the garbage? Yes dear!’
One of my AR-15 platforms is worth probably 5 regular AR-15’s and that’s how I did it. One accessory at a time, over years. I look at that rifle now and think yeah, this is my EOTWAWKI rifle cause I can’t afford to replace it. But I feel pretty safe in saying I’ve got over $6,000 in accessories and such.
First of all, thank you for your service. As civilians we are often not aware of occurrences that happen in our country. After 911 many instances of contact with foreign agents, saboteurs, terrorists, would be assassins and other hazards to our freedom were intercepted by ICE, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies. The borders of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California are a sieve for illegals and drug traffickers entering our country. I will not get political regarding this, so I will not bring up names or parties I consider responsible. Citizens of our country are especially ignorant of the dangers facing members of our armed forces and their supporting specialists. Incidents such as your experience show that the war we are fighting does not end at our borders. The battles are continuing here in our country as well as in foreign countries. 911 should have shown us that. I commend you on your quick thinking and quick action in the defense of your family. I cannot and do not want to think of what could have occurred if we lived in a country that did not allow us to own the weapons needed to defend ourselves and our families. We need to have more control of our borders and who enters our country. We especially need the gun control enthusiasts to realize that our country needs to protect itself. If you don’t want to own a gun and are afraid of guns, that is fine. Just realize that there are those of us who respect the weapons we own and use them legally and with trained skill. Those who abuse the right to keep and bear arms will be dealt with through our judicial system. It is a simple system and it works. God bless you and your family and God Bless America.
https://community.usconcealedcarry.com/u/keith129 True enough: Most Americans are not aware. Even if they are, most go about their lives not acknowledging the problem, as if they think if they forget it or don’t discuss or prepare for it, it won’t happen; the worst, that is. As for weapons, not sure how that got into the conversation but everyone should buy at least one they like you can often rent and try at ranges), enough ammo for shooting 1,000 down range and have 10 mags minimum always ready, and GET TRAINING! I also think each should join USCCA or at least TX or US Law Shield. We have seen the extents liberals and democrats will go in such cases and few of us can afford the ensuing legal battles! Anyway, this and other internet sources, as well as range time, encourages me to the fact that people are catching-on.
In my opinion, two things should be matters of urgency for every American Patriot: The ability to defend their home and the ones they love, and in my opinion get into The Bible and prepare! Peace; God help us all. God bless Israel.
+1. You see clearly my friend.
In most cases it simply a matter of convincing them that they are their own first responder and have to play an active role in their own rescue.
Another isolated incident
“However, the Moore County Sheriff’s Office said Daraev had no utility equipment, utility clothing or identification on him when he was killed.”
Spook?
