What a lot of people don’t know is chechens are Muslim, when I was in Iraq the second time, the top sniper for the terrorist was chechen and worked around our base in Ramadi, he got a couple of guys I knew and I learned to hate chechens as much as the Russians.

There was comment by way of an accusatory Change.org petition that said the victim was a native of Chechnya and was “killed in cold blood.”

I disagree with her question. Chechnya is a separatist Muslim region, not aligned with Russia, most likely the Muslim was not acting as a Russian agent, but for whatever brand of Islam he belonged to.

That’s wild man! Glad you all survived! Definitely a case for having good situational awareness and trusting your instinct! I know my cousin was special forces in the Army (retired after 20? Years). When ISIS started coming out of the woodwork in Syria and Iraq they had to go through all sorts of security measures most visibly for me anyone going dark on social media. For awhile I believe that applied for his whole family. I can’t imagine having those guys mark you and your loved ones. I know there’s a certain risk to us civilians with little or no connection to the armed forces but I can’t imagine being actually targeted by then.
Again really glad you and your family made it out safe. You just never know who’s lurking around the corner. Thanks for sharing your story!

Anybody keeping track of the attempts by who knows of people trying to make it on to our military bases. Our military is under attack in our own nation by rouge individuals. That’s how islame works until they get numbers big enough to come right out to attack directly.
