I am a retired SA with the DEA. I retired in 1999 after 27 years of Federal service starting with the BNDD which transitioned to the DEA in 1973. I worked out of the Chicago office where I was assigned duties in enforcement, technical operations, training (where I trained city, county, state and foreign law enforcement in the methods of investigating drug traffickers). I finished off my career as a background investigator for SA applicants. Upon retirement I work in several related fields including BI Investigator for Federal Security Clearances and Security for private businesses. I am presently fully retired.
