Who else feels like “naked” when they are not carrying?

Nothing but a belt, a drop a holster and shoes hahaha

Not only do I feel underdressed but if I am going to a situation I can’t carry all day, like jurry duty, my pants don’t fit right. I went from having a few pairs of pants I could carry with to having a few that I fit when I don’t carry.

Absolutely - I have a spot just outside the shower curtain where i place mine … never more than 3s away. Ever. And usually, never more than 0.5s away, on belt. IF it took that long to move cover garment…

Most definitely. I’ve carried a weapon for over 30 years so it’s just a part of my everyday life.

My wife will sometimes ask why I’m carrying in the house. In most cases I got home and forgot to place my gun in it’s appropriate place (A draw in the hallway - no kids). I carry a Sig P938 and it tends to “disappear”, in that it’s presence becomes less and less as the day wears on.

Had a similar thing happen to me. Wife asked me why I had a gun on in bed. Told her it didn’t count if it’s just a nap

I can’t leave home without it, and haven’t for almost 40 years.

This happens to me more and more lately, especially with all of the unrest. My wife and I will be watching something, and I will get up to go to kitchen. Will make 1 or 2 steps, realize I don’t have my gun on me and turn back and grab it.

I feel you @Zavier_D I do the same thing at home and right now it is next to me at arms reach. If I go to get a cup of coffee in the kitchen it comes along with me.

Good point. I hate going to the courthouse. I have to leave it in the trunk with my whole purse. Talk about feeling naked.

I understand the"naked" feeling. I’ve been carrying for 3 months. One day I was getting ready for church grabbed my Ruger EC9S, racked it and put it on my belt. My wife said “did I just hear you rack you gun?” I said yes. She said “leave it, you don’t need it in church”. I felt naked the hole time. Couldn’t focus. Looking around myself, touching my back…lol it was a sad day. Bet you she didn’t know I had it the next time we we’re in church.

@Justin47, that’s the reason we carry backup (backup means - NOBODY knows :grinning: )
