I prefer Glock, for CC I prefer my G26 w/TLR-6.
Did you see this thread about Glocks, @Eric1?
Hi Dawn. I have a Glock 19 gen 2 that I bought new in 1990. I’ve tried all the other generations of Glocks as well as the 43, but nothing compares to this one. I appreciate the single stack 43 for it ability to print less, but there are trade offs and it still doesn’t shoot as well. When they say Glock perfection, this gen 2 really fits that description.
The best 2 (4) pistols that I have trained with is Glock 20 Gen 4 10mm with a KKM Conversion
4.6" barrel 40 caliber SW, when you want to practice and save a lot of money.
Plus the recoil with .40 caliber SW is easy on the hands, with that 4.6" barrel.
The 10mm is a .40 caliber and can be approaching .41 magnum power.
The other pistols are a Sig Sauer P320 Full and Compact 9mm’s. The compact is a
kit and you change out trigger chassis and move on.

Nice! My summer EDC is Glock 27 in .40. I put the mag from a Glock 23 with a 2’ extension to give me more grip being a sub compact. It also brought the capacity up from 9 to 13 rounds (not counting the one in the chamber. How do you like the Sig P320? I never shot one but I hear it’s pretty sweet.
That is what I am glad to hear. Good work on your craftmanship, excellent.
That is a EDC with class!
Thank you
William Smith
The Sig Sauer P320 is also a confrontable firearm and the full size 17+1 and
the compact is 15+1… It is easy to clean and work well.
Hmmmm… It appears both you and Dawn like those P320’s. I’ve been wanting a Sig. I like the P226 Elite but it isn’t really practical for my use. So I need to check out the P320 and the P229… What the hell, it’s only money right? lol
Brian, if I may say this to help. We are all different and guns, pistols, revolvers, and rifles are in
many sizes and weights. If possible try before you buy and study the firearm that you want, not what someone has or wants. Make sure it FITS YOU, sir.
Thank you!

Thanks for the advice. I’ve been carrying, collection and building guns since 1974. Nothing will ever “fit” me better than my Glocks. I just want to add a Sig to my collection. I look at it like my Colt Python. They are all great guns. But what’s the old saying,… I show my friends my Sig, I show my enemies my Glock!
Like Glock firearms, the Sig Sauer has many choices and many builds and always remember that the
smaller the pistol and higher the caliber is, the recoil will effect us all. Takes much time and cost to be the
BEST. I rather you be safe and enjoy life. Thank you, sir.
S&W Shield M&P Performance Center & in my wish list is the beautiful Beretta 92 Fusion Black.
I currently have a Glock 19 and Glock 23. I went to the gun shop today to buy my next gun, a Glock 43, but the NICS system was backed up so I will have to wait until it comes through. Based on the article, it looks like I made the right choice.
I had the 226 and sold it so I could buy my 320
The 226 was awesome, but I wanted to carry the 320.
@Dawn @Nathan I finally just sucked it up and ordered my future favorite BUG… chiappa rhino 2" barrel in 9mm. Dont know how long it’ll take to come in but at least it’s on it’s way
@Zee - Let us know when it comes in. Post pictures too!
Will do! Stopped into a gun show today and a vendor had several other rhino models… first time I’ve held one… oh man! Instant crush.
What, no H&K?
Springfield XD or XDM. Why? Closest thing to the mating of a 1911 x Glock, fits my hand perfectly, and very high capacity.
Hey Group, just thought I’d add my 2 cents worth. I carry a Sig 938. I’v Shot it a lot without any problems. It fits my hand well and is small enough to conceal. Stole my 1911 from Uncle Sam when I left Vietnam, and still think it’s the best handgun made. It is a little difficult to conceal when you’re of a smaller stature in the summer. Winter is another story and that’s the one I carry then. Cool reading all the comments without being called all kinds of stuff for not agreeing with someone. Long live America my friends.
