Upon retiring from the military, I received a framed picture of a Bald Eagle perched on a flag staff (with the wind providing a full view of the flag). The caption on the picture states, āFor those who fight for it, Freedom has a special flavor the protected will never know!ā.

it says the quote is from a book author -G. Michael Hopf but it could be from someone in the past but I have heard it a few times and I like it

So all of those good ole boys who are quick to gear up so they wonāt have to wear masks should have at least spent some time in the military.
The second amendment isnāt designed to kill people practicing the first.

I believe every person on this forum agrees with you. However, when freedom of speech, to peaceably assemble and redress grievances with the government digress to violence and destruction of property, it is no longer an exercise of ones First Amendment rights and has absolutely no legal protection.
Freedom is the right to make the wrong choice.
The bigger the government the smaller the citizen.

Not sure on the original source, but Dennis Prager wrote an article for Townhall in 2009.
