What are yall's thoughts on this teenage mob takeover of downtown Chicago?!

Not choosing to play their games by their rules seems like a very good idea to me. As long as we remain aware that there are some others happily playing along.

BTW, here’s a similar story, but from California.
Huge mob ransacks California gas station; police ‘outnumbered’: video | Fox News

Some thoughts:

  1. The article states that this was just 1 of 3 flash mobs that night.
  2. This happened in Compton, which has almost no white demographic. But if you watch the video, you can clearly see white people in the crowd. Just because it happened in Compton doesn’t mean it was perpetrated by Compton residents. The same can be said for most riots we’ve seen.
  3. The crowd dispersed before police could respond.

I believe, that a lot of this problem is rooted in Hollywood and the music industry. There is destructive and self-destructive behavior that is being presented through these channels, and specifically, targeting ethnic youths in this country. One thing we as a nation havent done is try and shut down this sewer pipe.

These islands are working their way to having everything removed. Walmart. Food. Police. Doctors. They seem to think that utopia is free and guaranteed
and possible. Give them their wish, with a wall around it.

Okay. I get it, and my best friend is black, yada yada yada. Which is why I emphasized in my initial post that the black commentator Greg Foreman was unique among his community. Because while he was thoughtfully writing his commentary people of a different community were trashing Chicago.

I don’t care what your background is. Once you choose theft, violence, vandalism you no longer can claim the empathy card. Commit those things against innocent people?

What I find interesting the lack of news coverage of this event.
I have only found a couple of articles about this and a whole lotta nothing with details outside of what was posted.
Because, ya know, there is no bias in the media

We weren’t talking about California. Listen at 12:30 if nothing else. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

In case you didn’t see the Cali one. Just to be fair. Another democrat/liberal utopia.
Seems to be a common thread.

I was about to say that other countries can do things we can’t do in the U.S. because of our past mistakes. But then I remembered this was about Germany.

This is what you get in a liberal society where the norm is single parent, and unfortunately single parent who is not engaged in raising their child. The parent then sends the child to a liberal public school where the teacher is more worried about trying to get children to change genders or rewriting history rather than teaching them any form of worthwhile skills, further the school is keeping the parent out of the information loop if the school is getting involved in areas of the child’s psychology that the school has no business in. Then libs in the media, lib politicians and schools paint laws and law enforcement as the enemy and yell about defunding the police, causing the child to have a very bad opinion of the police. Liberals then yell about their right to abort or kill children thus devaluing human life in the eyes of children. Finally liberal politicians and DA’s then do not enforce laws when youth and adults riot and loot, and children see this and determine that there is no consequences for illegals actions. So what you get is a teenager who does not value life or other property, who has been filled with lies about America, who has been taught you can do what you want without consequences, and that police are bad, and they go out and terrorize and destroy whatever they can.

I can’t find one mainstream report that this actually happened yesterday. I’m thinking this is footage from the 2020 riots being put forward as current events by fringe media for political purposes. The women in the video says all the stores look like this. Which did happen in 2020. But I can find no legitimate sources saying anything major happened yesterday. Just another typical crime filled day in Chicago.

If this did happen yesterday then there is a massive coverup in place by both the left and right wing corporate media as well as local Chicago news stations.

Chicago is a crap show but we need to be careful. There are people and governments out there that are intentionally trying to stoke the fears of people on both sides to instigate violence and division. Let’s not play their game.

If anyone can find a reliable source on this that isn’t based on a video posted on TikTok that we can’t verify the date it was recorded on I’m open to changing my mind.

I so agree with you. I don’t live too far from Chiraq, They just keep voting for people that really don’t care about law and order. They talk the big talk but in the end they are just interested in the kick-backs they can get. In my opinion there was only one choice for an honest mayor, who truly cared for it’s law abiding citizens. Willie Wilson should have been voted for, he appears to care, and he has enough money to not have to be interested in corrupt kick-backs. Just my opinion.

While searching for reliable reports on the supposed recent Walmart looting in Chicago I came across the article below.

Warning this is satire and not based on actual facts even though everything in it rings so true:(

I wasn’t aware of Mr.Wilson, so I looked him up in Wiki. In 2019:

Wilson was endorsed by the Cook County Republican Party

Wilson failed to make it to the runoff
Again, Wilson’s endorsement was actively sought by both candidates in the runoff. Wilson endorsed Lori Lightfoot.

Any questions about Wilson, or Cook Co. Republican Party for that matter?
