I still have never figured out WTH they did with seashells that made toilet paper obsolete and I have actually used a bidet (not intentionally)

I stopped by the sporting goods department at a local Walmart in Northern California with my daughter not expecting to find any handgun caliber ammunition left, so I was surprised when one of the associates was stocking the shelves with several 200rd boxes of 9 mm Winchester. The associate said he thought they had sold out all of their stock but ā€œstumbled across these few casesā€ and had just started putting them on the shelves. Even better, they were selling their remaining stock at less than half price ($17.00 for 200rds) and said any inventory of handgun caliber ammunition they have left by the end of December was going to be donated to law enforcement. Of course I had to buy some and I don’t think anyone was going to be leaving any behind for law enforcement. The associate who rang up my order didn’t have any issue with my daughter being with me and was even courtesy enough to recommend that I get a cart to carry it all out in. :-). This sale made having to go through a background check and having to pay $1 to do it a little less painful.

I’m pretty sure the 3 Walmarts closest to me (the 3 within 150 miles) are all ran by the same owner/operator because a coworker was just telling me about a Walmart he was at the other day that was still selling ā€œbannedā€ ammo. Either way, I’m ordering mine in bulk from the internet these days.

The gun lobby seems to be gaining ground. What can be done to stop it or at least slow it down.

We get ours at Farm & Fleet (not sure if that’s just a WI place). But I’ve seen smoker stuff at Tractor Supply and I bet Rural King has them too. Rural King is very 2A friendly.

welcome to the group @Roger6161 and @Ronald_D!

Ronald, here’s a couple threads to get you started on ā€œwhat to doā€:
