Vacation ideas

I don’t have a generous rich uncle, I neither buy lottery tickets nor play slot machines :slot_machine: but if I had the money…

If I had the money I would send ya.

You can vacation once you leave the PRofC

Vacation? I need one. I want one. I want to go to Yellowstone again but stay for a week. Then go to Cody to the Buffalo Bill Museum, the rodeo, and the shooting range.

Same here. Three days and two nights weren’t enough. And I only spent lunchtime at the Grand Teton

I was in Missouri all last week enjoying the humidity, severe thunderstorms and tornado watches.

I’m all fun’d out

My daughter and I made last year’s one-week stay in Bethany more interesting by finding time to go to KC and Des Moines. We also did a short trip to Leavenworth, could’ve been spent better in Independence.

I was in the Lees Summit/Lake Lotawana area.

Is there a training course somewhere I can take to learn how to take a vacation?

Yes, offered by time-share companies

Side trip to presidential libraries?

A taste of Denmark :denmark:

Solvang, CA

GFZ also?

Don’t ask. Don’t tell.

*Reagan library -federal facility but not parking lot

I haven’t taken a vacation 13 years so im up for anything…

Im actually taking a week off in June, not sure what we’re gonna do but I can sleep in

That’s more than enough. My wife and I take day trips, max 3 hours one way. It starts with, “wanna get away?” Then, we figure out which direction we’re heading.

Could be Lake Tahoe, Reno (east), Monterey (west), Redding (north), or Fresn… nope, not going there.

Vacation - Go to a location that has activities to take part of. Preston, Arizona - Gunsite Academy and go take a class for three days. Go to lake Tahoe and go fishing. Go to Montana and go fly fishing. Go to Los Angeles and get mugged.  Go to Seattle and have a cup of coffee. Okay, I will be serious!

It is the idea of going someplace and doing something. On my bucket list is New Orleans but just to experience the food. I want to gauge my Gumbo, Jambalaya and such to what is produced down there. I also want to try a beignet; I need to know what to look for when I make one. I also want to go to Franklins BBQ in Texas just to experience it. Now that is a Vacation.

Kansas City, Arthur Bryant’s BBQ.

Edit: I recommend keeping your head on a swivel, sketchy neighborhood

So many great places to experience good BBQ and so little time!
