USCCA Expo Tickets - On sale now!

I’m just glad it is in Kansas city, MO. due to my mom being there. Gives me a reason to visit her.

So far we’ve done Wisconsin (our home state), Atlanta, Ft. Worth, Louisville, Pittsburg, and in 2020 we will be in Kansas City, MO. The nice thing about Kansas, aside from their awesome reciprocity (see below), it’s very centrally located.

Here are Missouri’s laws for y’all:

They’ve got pretty good reciprocity :wink:

This will be my first USCCA Expo. My question is will I want to be at the Expo all 3 days or would just one day be enough?

I see a lot of PAID courses but not sure what I want to attend or pay for.

Gary51,

Last year was my first, my son and I were there for all 3 days.
My wife, son and I are going this year for all three days (in fact we are going a day early).

Can you see everything in one day? I would say no.
Is it worth being there for all three days? I would say yes.

There are lots of classes (both paid and free). There were some unadvertised specials at last years event (some of which I took advantage of and some I didn’t).

One of the great things (if you didn’t see this) is a FREE live fire range in the building. You sign up, chose the weapon you want to try from what is offered (there are a lot) and you get 10 rounds. You can get right back in line for something else you want to try if you so wish.

At the end of the day you have to decide if it is worth it to you but once again I think it is.

One last thing, think of all the people you have been talking to here you will have a chance to meet that you may never get the opportunity to again. There are some of us that are going to try to have a get together to say “HI” to each other (details have not been worked out yet but everyone will be welcome).

Welcome to the Community Gary!

I’ll double down on what @DBrogue posted, I didn’t go last year but went the year before in Louisville (and am going this year).

The paid sessions are actual “training” sessions where you’ll learn and practice techniques on whatever is being taught. Maybe sign up for one and give it a shot?

If not, no worries, there were plenty of free sessions with great speakers to attend. Take a look at the ones that interest you and then base your attendance based on when those courses are offered.

Hope to see you there!

@Dawn, if we’re already pre registered, do we automatically qualify for the free t-shirt or will we need to email someone to request?

@JamesR

@Dawn has already assured me, members who have already pre registered will be getting an email in the near future letting us know how sign up for our T-shirts.

Perfect!! Thanks DBrogue! :slight_smile:

Hi All, sorry I should have posted here about the t-shirt too! Someone mentioned it in another thread and I answered there.

Woo Hoo! My trial date has changed and I will be at the Expo!

Glad to hear it. Will be great to put a live face with the great posts.

YAYYY!!!

It will be good to meet all of you face to face!!! I’m excited!
Probably, the only thing to look forward too lol

Outstanding! That’s the best news I’ve heard all day. (But I did just get up a few minutes ago,):blush:

@David38,

Hey, no better way to start your day…

Take that in and take a swig of your hot coffee!!

I ordered my USCCA Expo Ticket last year. Just got around to trying to make a hotel reservation. The Holiday Inn did not have any rooms available. I was able to get a room at the Holiday Inn Express a little over 2.5 miles away or about a 10-minute drive.

Plan to see about getting a rental car tomorrow.

@Gary51, I actually got real lucky cause my mother lives in Kansas City, MO

I’m thinking about a rental too but my mother said when she comes to Louisiana it’s about $300 and I don’t know if I’ll have that much extra.

IF that is the case, I’ll just fill one that takes the least amount for fill up and go.

“Go into your registration confirmation email and select the link:”

I received an email from “Boomset” - That is all I received and there was not a “Link” that I could see. Am I missing something??
I also wanted to update my registration, because I think I have my wife talked into coming now. I will try a few more things
Thanks

Boomset is our ticket site, if you can’t update your registration on line, give us a shout at 877-677-1919 :slight_smile:

Sometimes technology is a bit of a pain in the tush when it doesn’t work right. Hopefully it cooperates, @Robert15!

@Dawn Expo idea.

We all have that drawer full of holsters, many we never even used. How about the USCCA put some tables out where we can leave them for someone to take… for free. Just have some sort of tag for the type of pistol that the holster was designed for. First come, first serve.
