Dear Santa, at the 2020 USCCA Expo I’d love to see…

When I was really little this time of year was exciting - dressing up for Halloween and starting to think about what my letter to Santa would say. As I grew up, I started valuing family time at Thanksgiving more as well. Now that my kids are all grown up, family time is important, but there are no letters to Santa. I miss my kids writing letters to Santa. :frowning:

So this year I thought I’d give you all a chance to write Letters to Santa about what you’d like to see at the 2020 USCCA Expo!

Dear Santa, at the 2020 USCCA Expo I’d love to see…

(OK, Santa really has nothing to do with it, but I’ll take your suggestions to our Expo team and see if any of them can make your wishes come true.)

Dear Santa,
I’ve been a Really Good Girl this year and I haven’t hit my brother even once.

For the USCCA Expo I’d like:

  • A class in drawing from women’s concealment options (corset, hip band, purse, etc)
  • A USCCA branded version of GPS Tactical’s range backpack
  • USCCA branded mini cable locks (for range bag locking zippers) that are NOT TSA compatible
  • Personally addressed autographed copies of some of my USCCA books
  • A 2020 USCCA expo pin
  • A USCCA morale patch
  • A picture with Tim, Beth, Kevin, Tom, Dawn and Me
  • Dinner with my community friends

Thank you Santa,
P.S. it wasn’t me who put peanut butter in my sister’s hair.

A booth with an awesome leather worker selling super awesome holsters. Shoulder holsters, cross draw, all types.

Good leather is soo hard to find done right.

Oh, and some Wisconsin cheese, because gee, I don’t get to Wisconsin!!!

Or somewhere in the South, Texas is a big state. :grinning:

To echo some others:
A location somewhere in the midwest.
Me.

But other than that, how about:

A Strip Club…you know, a group of experts to show newer folk how to safely disassemble and clean their weapons.

A Crack-Shot Competition…where each contestant clips their carry weapon and two spare magazines to their belt and we watch to see who is first to have their britches ride down and show their crack.

A Dress Code…nobody is required to wear a dress, but anyone who wants to can do so without being judged…

A Zombie Shoot…everyone picks a zombie and gives it their carry gun for five shots at seven yards. High score wins. Hell, any score at all probably wins.

A Field Trip…to a college dormitory common room to observe our opponents in their natural habitat.

A Long Slide Tutorial…so someone can explain to me how to go down one of those things without getting friction burns on my butt!

A Live Fire Evening…because sitting around a campfire in the dark is a great way to share stories and get to know one another.

That’s all I can think of right now, but I’m sure there’ll be more.

I didn’t know it was in Kansas City, I can find an excuse to make that happen easily.

I’ve never been to the expo. So I think I’ll just enjoy this one.

YAY! Santa already is making this one happen!!

I’d like to see one in the Phoenix, Tempe, or Mesa Arizona area. And I’d even be more than happy to volunteer to help.

I want to see ME at the 2020 Expo. Step 1, my wife is cool with me taking off a weekend. Now if I can get a case settled before the trial that is supposed to start the same day …
There are a lot of folks in the Community that I’d like to meet! @Dawn and @Zee to name a couple!

Welcome to the Community, @Wendy1! Registration will be open yet this year from what I’m hearing. As soon as it is open I’ll put a post on the Community and pin it to the home page. And you’ll definitely hear about it in your emails.

I’m going to set up an “informal” Community meet and greet again in 2020. This year there were 4 of us. I think in 2020 there will be a few more
