The Expo is quickly approaching! Plans are being made, events are being scheduled and I’d love to get an informal Community Meet-Up scheduled!
Can anyone in the Kansas City area recommend something close to the Expo hall where we can meet up for coffee or a beverage after the Expo?
Also, please chime in if you’ll be at the Expo and want to meet up.
This is me, chiming in. I’m good with getting together with everyone Saturday evening. I’ll have a couple of strays( wife and son) with me.
I’ll be there and would love to meet up with the folks here.
I should be going. I have a USCCA class a few days after that.
I’d love to meet some of the nice folks here. A nice steak dinner sounds a lot better though. 
Hope to be there if there isn’t a comic book convention happening at the same time.

I definitely want to meet up with you guys. I was thinking we could try a good buffet or something that has a big private room. So we could all break bread together and socialize.

Generally as a guy I’ll eat anywhere. Except, no like pho noodles, fish, or crawdads.
We won’t be in New Orleans, so I’m with you on the no crawdads.

If it aint Louisiana Crawfish, with all the right spices, corn as spicy as IDK but it spicy, and potatoes so hot it will make you wanna slap your mamma…RUN!

But with this said, I know a good handful of people that love em. I’m just glad God made all sorts of tasty things!
I like them, but they are more like a side as you really feel up on corn on the cob and baby potatoes.
I would rather have catfish…but you don’t like fish either (You would have starved here in Louisiana) hahaha jk! There is so much good food here!
I’ve had friends who left here tell me that not one place they go in other states have food like here. Just something about the way them spices hit!
Yep, I"ll be there! as long as I can get a bare burger or steak, I’ll be fine (dang these allergies! No BBQ for me anymore).

You haven’t lived until you have had Chicory coffee and Beignets in St. Loius Square at Cafe Dumonde. Then a nice leisurely brunch at the Court of 3 Sisters.
That’s what I live off of!
But the Chicory is in my Community Brand!!
