Good morning. Probably a dumb question and I wasn’t able to find anything when I searched. I now see 3 USCCA apps in the iOS App Store. Are the two newer Reciprocity and Protector apps taking the place of the original USCCA app? Or are all three still valid.

I have all three on mine and they seem to be different, but let’s ask for a @moderators to weigh in on it.
I apologize for any confusion! There are 3 different apps. The USCCA app is the one where you will find blogs, your digital issues of Concealed Carry Magazine, and all of your account information. The Protector Academy app includes all of the training and education available with your membership through the Protector Academy, and then the Reciprocity app is essentially an app version of the Reciprocity Map. I hope this helps some!
Thank you Brandon. I just wasnt sure what was what and now that I know they are all 3 valid, I will keep all 3 on my phone.

Old thread but new problem for me @moderators
When and why did you pull the reciprocity map out of the USCCA members app? And why won’t the new reciprocity app work for me? It takes me to a screen telling me to customize my experience but the buttons don’t work. I’m using an iPhone SE 2020 with the latest IOS update.
I have a road trip coming up and am bummed that I can’t quickly access the state laws from the app.
Hey @Shamrock. The New Reciprocity App launched later last year. We separated it due to the size and amount of information that needed to be stored in the app itself.
Which version of IOS do you have on your iPhone and which version of the app do you have?
Hi Tim. Thanks for your response. Just checked the reciprocity app again before responding and it seems to
be working fine now. Yesterday it took me to the continue setting up page but it wouldn’t let me enter anything or push finish so I was stuck there. Tried a few times with the same result. But it seems to be working today. I just loaded the app yesterday so it should be the latest version. Also have latest IOS 15.4.1 if that helps iron out future issues.

Not the answer you’re looking for, but my preference is to simply go through my browser, view desktop version, and use the full fledged USCCA website, including the reciprocity app within the website.
I pretty much always prefer using a desktop version of any website through my phone’s browser, vs an app. Everything just seems easier and more consistent.
