What's On Your Phone?

As a companion topic to USCCA app with Reciprosity and Protector apps, and Pocket dump: What is always in your pocket?, and the myriad “What’s your EDC?” topics, I thought it might be interesting to ask & share what firearms/training/2A/self-defense apps we keep on our phones.

It’s not just out of curiosity, but it could also be helpful in discovering what’s available and useful.

Good question. I have the two USCCA apps with notifications turned on.

What laser system do you use for tje laser apps?
I’ve been looking at options and some are as cheap as $25. Am I getting what I pay for?

At this moment: USCCA, USCCA Community, USCCA Training, USCCA Reciprocity, iTarget, Concealed Carry, Range Tech, Scope Tool Pro, Federal, Fiocchi, Ammo Inventory, Expert Voice. Not all “training” per se, but what the heck.

With the Laser Academy, I bought a Pink Rhino laser cartridge directly from MantisX for about $40.

That looks like a great line-up of apps.

I have nothing added to my phone.

The 4 USCCA apps, I have, of course.

I prefer going through a browser and viewing desktop version for most things though.

My “carry” phone just contains some phone numbers…

My WiFi-only and somewhat more obsolete iPad carries a few apps which will still run on it:
• G-Sight LTP,
• MantisX,
• LaserHIT, and of course
• Camera.
Very few current releases will run on my old hardware.
I agree with @Nathan57 that many things are more practical from a browser.

That looks like Jack Bauer’s phone.

Several years ago, Metropcs gave me a brand new smartphone because my flip phone was no longer supported by their upgraded network.

Oooh. You’ve discovered my secret identity. Now I’ll have to write you into a script.
Actually, I feel more like…

You can see that I’m getting one bar of 2G service.
That’s about as good as “universal” service gets most days.
So I should buy a $1000 phone why exactly?.
