The new USCCA® App is officially live!

With the app, you can:

• Access your digital membership card
• Continue training in Protector Academy®
• Use the Reciprocity Map
• Find classes and ranges near you
• Manage CCW permits and expiration reminders
• Pick up your training progress right where you left off

Everything is now in one place, making it easier to access the tools and resources you use most.

To find it, search:

• Apple (iOS): “Concealed Carry App by USCCA”
• Android: “USCCA Concealed Carry App”

Already a member? Just sign in with your existing account and everything carries over.

Free accounts also have access to the Reciprocity Map, making it easy to stay informed about firearm laws and reciprocity while traveling.

Nice. Reciprocity is relevant to me so that’s what I checked out first.

I love how scrolling by state gives a quick yes/no answer.

This is what I was waiting for.

First what I like - it allows to be used under “free account”
Super easy to navigate, I appreciate handy scrolling between States.

I cannot wait the moment I’ll be traveling between the States to see how the app is going to keep me informed.

I might be in the minority, but I’m not a big fan of the new app. The old reciprocity app was straight forward and easy to navigate. New one takes multiple steps to get to you answer. Just my 3 cents (inflation) worth!

I ran into a few problems with the new app.

I had 3 separate app’s on my phone. Main, training, and reciprocity. Ended up deleting two of them.

When I tried to log in the new app it would not automatically enable touch ID to enter NAME & password.

I was advised by “support” to use the 6 digit code and never log out???

Seems like a ticket for disaster if I need to log-in under stress.

Am I alone in this feeling???

On iOS, the only option I see to log in is to manually enter email address and then wait for the passcode. Unless an update is in the works, I agree, this could be problematic.

The suggestion to stay logged in may work for a period, but I imagine at some point you’ll get logged out without your input. A secondary downside is that it may prevent you from entering the daily giveaways.

New app still needs improvements.

Sometimes is confusing… and I’m not sure if I can trust in everything it’s showing.

This is the best example:

I’m resident of IL with valid CCL, so it’s obvious I can carry in IL.

However when I’m using app, f.e. checking gun laws in WI, then coming back to main screen… I cannot carry in IL. :joy:

Yep, I also am having problems with to new app. Interference of to many thing’s popping up, having to tap on choices multiple time’s before they activate.

AGITATING is the word for the new app.

When I tried to open the app this morning I had been logged out :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

Had to go through the get a pass code thingy again :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

This is not ideal if one is under stress or have physical limitations.

I’ll probably be on the horn to support on Monday.

Support has opened a ticket on the log in issue.

BTW if you haven’t found it the "community is scroll right on the top bar.
