I avoid those, too. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

I find you interesting and stimulating too Dave. Do you know in the Bible David is G-ds chosen?

On the contrary, that is what I am trying to remove. The obstacle is blame. By removing blame it gives society a chance to except the challenges and run over the hurdles. What good would it do for society not to remove blame and teach forgiveness?

Blame, when assigned based on truth and objective evidence, is not a bad thing. On the contrary it’s the first indispensable step to teaching/learning better behavior.

Muddy thinking. If blame is removed, forgiveness has no meaning. There is a reason why one must repent of one’s sins b before receiving absolution. Without the admission of guilt (another word for blame) and the acceptance of responsibility and making atonement for the debt incurred by one’s bad actions, one can neither feel the need for nor appreciate the benefit of forgiveness.

Removing blame from bad behaviors is ultimately bad for society at large. Every negative activity which has be de-stigmatized by the removal of blame and shame (ā€œblame’sā€ fraternal twin) rapidly results in a marked increase in that activity, always to the detriment of individuals as well as the larger society. Look back at the last 70 years of America’s social history for ample evidence of this. Properly assigning blame leads to the proper assignment of accountability which is a foundational pillar of any society. Without it, society starts down the path to collapse.

Evil can only be pacified, by surrendering to it.

Show it love?

You have surrendered.

If blame was based on truth and objective evidence. It would be blame. It would be consolation.

What leads you to believe this? Guilt is not another word for blame. Help from AI-Blame is the act of assigning responsibility for a bad situation, while guilt is the internal feeling of remorse or regret that can result from that responsibility. Someone can be blamed for a bad event without feeling any guilt, and someone can feel guilty for something they weren’t blamed for.

Yes this statement is correct.

AI? Now you need a robot to help you?

AI gets it wrong right out of the box! In our current context blame is the assignment of responsibility for a specific act committed by a specific person or persons. To simply call it a ā€œbad situationā€ is to imply the there is no agency involved.

Partially agreed. Guilt is only felt by those who admit to themselves that they have done something which they know was wrong.

If you intend to continue to resort to AI, then I will remove myself from this conversation. I have no interest in debating a non-sentient, non-thinking, machine incapable of understanding the concepts being discussed, nor to engage with a machine regarding human interactions.

OK…I have a confession: I am racist and I am highly prejudiced.

On the issue of being a racist, I can safely say I LOVE racing. Going fast is exhilarating. It gets the blood pumping. NASCAR, NHRA, F1…I’m there. My favorite though has got to be Baja. That is where the strong are separated out from the Superhumans. The technology that goes into these cars is mind boggling. Yes, I like to race.

On the prejudism front, I really don’t like these dumba** farm boys who think it’s acceptable to reengineer their dad’s diesel dually pickup with the 12-inch dual stack exhaust system and jack with the programming in the computer to make their trucks ā€œroll coal.ā€ The boys who own Dodge or Ram are the worst. I call them DAWAD’s. DUMB A** WITH A DODGE. Not saying everyone who owns a Dodge is a Dumb A**, just those certain few.

In the job position I am currently in, I get to be rude to them and it makes me feels oh so nice. The shop I work at works on commercial vehicles. Big trucks. We get calls from these little boys and I get to tell them we don’t work on ā€œlittle trucksā€ to which they will usually reply something like ā€œIT’S A GOD DA**ED 1 TON!ā€ I will then ask if it is a class 7 or 8 road tractor. That answer is always ā€œno.ā€ ā€œOK. So, it is a little truck then?ā€ The line usually goes dead after that.

Yes, I’m racist and prejudiced. And a jerk. Let us not forget that.

All that tells you is a king is in control of the ignorant mob. Your definition of democracy and its resulting comfort is based on false information. You were lied to.

I was asking if that is what you meant? Oh no. I was trying to explain what I meant. I know what democracy means I was explaining the two different definitions depending on if is a type of government or a Democratically elected government.

One of the largest problems our society faces today is that so few seem to know their place. They’re equal to anyone, right? RIGHT?

We see this on roads. On forums. On the phone. Have some humility when you’re asking someone for something, whether you’re paying them or not, you assume that they have something that you need or you wouldn’t be asking them something.

A. Democrat

B Democrat

C. Democrat

D. All of the above

I’ll say it D. All of the above

I’m confused, Brad. Do you agree or disagree with me concerning my confession of being racist and prejudiced? Not that it would matter one direction or the other in relation to the grand scheme of things. I am just requesting clarity.
