I’m a patriot, and a veteran, I love my country. But we have been fighting old men’s wars, police actions, invasions, whatever we want to call it. For to long and often for all of the wrong reasons. I feel like the last 22 years of low intensity combat ( low intensity, as only in reference to how we fought WW 2) has chewed up to many of our young men and women. If we were going to put our fighting men and women into harms way, then unleash the military and allow it it’s head (short of nuclear), but total conflict and let them do what we are the BEST in the World at. That is to break sh!t, give them all a few days warning, and then parking lot that sh!t, slap a McDonald’s and Disneyland down in the middle of it and call it a day. Stop feeding our troops into a meat grinder for little to no gain. It’s one of the things I respect the most about Israel.
There is a reason that Japan and Germany are productive members of Global Society now.
