What is the advice for how to handle a situation in a public place where thugs have taken over and maybe hurting innocent people?

Perhaps if someone is unable to protect themselves, like an elderly, crippled or young child and being physically beaten.

I’ll echo what’s been said above, unless the “victim” is in your personal circle of friends and family, get out of there and hope the police can handle it.
Especially as a CCW holder, you’ll run out of bullets before you’ve taken out all the thugs,… and then you’re responsible for every round fired, and every injury sustained…..

We never go anywhere near any of these places, or where there are a lot of people in general.
At the takeovers, I can’t understand why they can’t just block them in and offer to shoot or arrest…their choice. They’re animals and belong in cages or to be put down. Do the world a favor.

My feeling on this is a heightened Sense of Awareness nowadays needs to be implemented before we go out and about. A check of the local-yokel News to check for ‘disruptions’ then as you are driving or walking head on a swivel (NO headphones, cell distractions)
.and ONE IN THE PIPE! We are good to go.
My unasked for advice is also TRAIN UP- as some say like your life depends on it (because these days? Every day it certainly does).
Lastly, it may have been commented on above but if you SEE a situation unfolding around and you are CAUGHT up in it (it friggin’ happens) HIT THE WALL, a solid backdrop of some kind where the BG’s can’t get behind you. If you have to draw your weapon make damn sure you …
a) Feel your life (or family/friends) are in mortal danger
b) you are ready to use it
c) The main goal is to STOP THE THREAT and to survive (If you can safely RETREAT please do so) Avoiding a FIGHT today is the best option. The best Gunfight is the one you don’t have.
EDIT: If we are talking about inserting yourself into a situation that doesn’t directly involve you (stranger muggings, beatings, Gang sh!t) Ask yourself one thing… Is this worth you getting involved in? Can you pay the toll of this action?
For me? If it involves a Child or a Senior I will find it damn near impossible to walk away. But I am already prepared for this. Trained for just how much I’d take before I HAVE TO STEP IN. If it;s a bunch of idiots whaling on each other or any ‘Protest’ getting out of hand where’s the Popcorn?.

I had a Military friend (different Army–Irish in such and such ‘Special’ field) —knowhatImean? 
). I was over in the UK before it became a Muslim Annex and went over to visit him. He took me to great places/sites but when he surprised me with ‘Bare Knuckles Boxing’ I almost bailed on him. That’s not SPORT to me. Sorry, I must be weak or something but seeing the first pair of…contestants beat the daylights out of each other was disconcerting. All the blood spilled in my life and here these characters were Volunteering for a beating----Life takes a turn for the surreal every time I open my eyes it seems…
Oh, just for the record before I became Bionic and could kick and punch my way out of a fight (if it wasn’t Blades N Barrels) Now? I pity the fool who jumps me—Kicking someone’s Gonad’s to dust may not be very sporting but it will end the fight RAPIDLY!

Contact local law enforcement and make them aware of the problems. If they do not resolve the situation Write to Trump and tell him MS-13 has been spotted and ICE will be right there.
I would not suggest trying to be a superhero or the 6 million dollar man or whatever delusions of grandeur some are afflicted with. Stay clear, stay safe, and let those whose job it is to resolve any issues do so. This may take time given the left’s and the right’s approach to law enforcement. Each side’s overreach has crippled their ability to do their jobs effectively.

As for me I don’t watch when people who can’t defend themselves it’s just how it is with defunding the police and Blue States !! I Buy my own ammunition !! So we are the Law when there is none . I will change your tire if you need help why in the Hell would I not Defend you if you can’t defend your self and I’m there. No worries . I will. The one piece of advice I can give in this psycho world…keep a Palestinian flag, a BLM T-shirt and a green HAMAS Banda in your glove compartment! Feel free to switch them up depending on how peaceful it is!
