Hard to tell from that angle 
but you look like you’re wider across the shoulders and narrow across the hip. 3 o’clock could work better.

Those are excellent reasons for a swap.
On that pic though… Man, I don’t think a compact will help. That’s maybe trimming an inch off the grip length.
Hard to see where you’re beltline is in there, but you will need to move the holster higher/lower, move your beltline higher/lower, adjust the cant, or change where on the belt it sits (maybe closer to 9 o’clock).
Or… just never bend over at the waist. Bend from the knees only.
Did you say you considered appendix?

I carry the P365 appendix. I wear pants high on waistline. Could never carry G45 there, it would gut punch me when I sat down

Maybe adjust the ride height? Also, are you using a dedicated appendix holster or just a regular IWB in appendix position? A dedicated appendix holster makes a world of difference. There are a lot of folks carrying fullsize-ish appendix. Have a search for “Spencer Keepers” and look for videos, articles, podcasts with him in it. He is one of the original dedicated appendix holster makers and has tons of advice on getting them to fit and work well.

I use a dedicated holster appendix and one for owb. I carry P365 appendix, when I carry G45, I carry owb
