I want to try it so bad…
The thing was literally calling out saying, “buy me” “buy me” but I’m sure we’ve all went home making a few bad choices at the gun-store a few times
I’m going to check it out for sure!! Thanks for the review on it!!

@John150 what belt and holster are you using? Can you wear an untucked shirt, or do you have a dress code you have to follow? Just wondering, I am not a huge guy and normally carry a 4.25" 1911 and 2 extra mags OWB with an unbuttoned Carhart shirt.
Also, if you are wanting a little more capacity than the Sig P365, have you checked out a P365 XL? I think they make 15 and maybe 17? round mags.
I almost always have an untucked overshirt on. What happens is me trying to find that sweet spot to conceal it while carrying owb.
I understand John150. Sometimes it just takes finding the perfect combination for your gun and you,. LOL, we almost need a ‘holster swap’ program… Hope you find what works for you soon.
Now that’s a great granddaughter for anyone of us, unfortunately my 2 granddaughters are WAY too young to do anything for my firearms.
That’s why I’m not allowed in gun stores anymore. Instead I go to my FFL, because at least this way I come out much cheaper (only having to pay cost).
The 320 is still a double stack, and I don’t know that you will be saving enough room for carry to make a significant change for such a trade. Interesting proposal.
For me the width isn’t the problem, length of grip is. It prints if I barely bend at the waist. Heck, it may just be me spending too much time at the mirror and overanalyzing.
Right!!!
If you are married I totally get it!!!
You know, you might just ask a gun friend to see how much they see you “print”. You might be surprised.
If memory serves, isn’t the G45 the G19 slide length with the G17 grip?
If so, why not go for the G19 instead? The grip length will be a bit shorter, same slide length (likely the exact same holsters will work). You can even carry the larger 17rnd mags as a spare.
I’ve shot the P320 in Full size and Compact, I really like it. The P320 fullsize will give you the same problem you have now with grip length. The P320 Compact is roughly equivalent to the G19 so that will be a bit shorter than what you have now.
I agree with a post above that recommended the P365XL as well for a small frame option. It will be slimmer than your G45, and substantially shorter in the grip (maybe too short?)
G19 is a nice carry option. It’s one of mine. Along with the G30 .45.
I do have a P365, however, I occasionally like to carry a firearm with a higher capacity. When I carry the P365, I use the 12 round mag. While I like the G19, I liked the trigger on the G45 better. When I shot a friend’s P320 compact, I liked that trigger even more.
@John150 I bought a Performance Center M&P Shield with the hopes of carrying an ultra-concealable lightweight super gun. What a bust. The handgun is very nice, accurate, has easy to acquire sights, good trigger and holds enough rounds to disengage effectively but for my body-type and carry-style it is a no-go. Once I figured out how to shoot it accurately and consistently I parked it. My very favorite pistol of the last five years was a Para-USA Black Ops .45. My gunsmith said I wore it out. I lost track of the rounds I went through It still has a place of honor in my safe.
Find a gun you like and trust. Something that fits your needs. Get something reliable and comfortable for you. The Glock is a workhorse. If it doesn’t work for you, move on when you can afford it. I know I always got soaked “trading up”. I hope you have a successful quest brother,
If you like your P365, why not get the Sig 15 round P365 magazine?.. Or the P365XL?
My problem when carrying the G45
Not a pic I wanted to take
Does my SIg P320 make me look fat?
What I thought,
