I have seen idiots showing off for TicTok, or YouTube videos Spinning a pistol around a finger inside the trigger guard, thinking that this won’t end well, and 
they shoot themselves dead in their head, Duh!

That is why until I get my permit I have taken a Deep dive into a refresher on not just Hunter Safety and 25-years Army. That and ask the legal aspects of carrying and using a handgun.
Even though I have never had an issue in a lifetime of hunting, or my entire military career.
I take being a responsible protector of me and mine seriously, and appreciate that this is a whole new realm. Which, is way I joined USCCA, I have learned so much.
I have far exceeded TN’s required training for their standard CCW, their CHP Concealed Handgun Permit, and intend to meet their requirements for their enhanced version ECHP.
Being that they passed their Permitless option on July 1, 2021, and that I am not a prohibited person by their criteria I can carry immediately . Just not everywhere I could with a permit, like state or national parks, etc.

Well, we have Constitutional Carry in Texas. In and of itself, it is more restricted than having a CC License; way more! There are places you dare not go under Constitutional Carry that you can go if you have a license. You can even be drinking with your weapon (not over the legal limit) and carry (a bad idea altogether for the most part) with a license. THE POINT IS: They’ll always find ways to limit us! They’ll find ways to limit us because: They want to know who are all the gun owners and carriers! ‘Shall not be infringed’ is violated even by them tracking us, and tracking what we buy! Certain credit card companies even track and supply said data where ammunition or firearms or anything weapon-related is concerned! HOW IS THAT LEGAL???
IT HAS BECOME PREPOSTEROUS FOR US TO BELIEVE THAT, ABSENT SUCH GREAT ORGANIZATIONS AS THE NRA FIGHTING FOR US, WE WILL EVER BE FREE OF GOVERNMENTAL TYRANNY WHERE FIREARMS ARE CONCERNED! It’s real simple: They don’t want any of us to own guns because then we can resist tyranny. This will never change!

So called “Constitutional Carry” by the states is not true 2A because their versions of Permitless Carry are not truly Constitutional. But, in Tennessee the same restrictions that apply to prohibited persons from getting their version of a CCW, a CHP Carry Handgun Permit apply. The TN CHP does not mention the word Concealed because it allows for either open or concealed carry with or without a permit. In that regard it’s less restrictive than NY that has no Permitless option, and no open option. Its NYPL NY Pistol License, or NYCPL specifically requires concealed carry only, and it has NO open carry options.
in NY Only LEOs and licensed armed guards may carry open. Civilian citizens cannot open carry.
Each state has its own unique restrictions.
Pure 2A is the only true Constitutional Carry.
The rest is all arbitrary state restrictions applied to 2A, with, or without a permit, open, or concealed as they (the states) chose.
I fully understand your “idiot” fear that is something that bothers me more than a “Bad Guy”. I guess we will just have to be aware of that danger. I was raised by my Grandmother in S C , we hunted and fished and always carried a firearm. But I was taught to address the threat and if that is a “bad person” Or a Idiot shooting at you you respond the same way. That is a situation I hope I never encounter .
