Why are you so pessimistic?

Welcome to the community, @Robert1585 .

I agree, at least with the current administration. There may be a chance if conservatives take over both chambers of Congress and the White House, but I think the real chance of anything close to this becoming law will be from SCOTUS.

Doesn’t it give you that warm and fuzzy feeling?

Only if you pay attention to the yeahs and nays on these votes and vote the nays out of office would this pass at some time in the future. Too many gun owners don’t vote and that is a big problem with the 2A community.

This is purely a political move to get our representatives in Washington on the voting record as to where they stand on gun rights.

Walz mentioned removing reciprocity between all states just before he mentioned going into battle with an AR smdh. Betting Blumenthal is his battle buddy.
Guess he didn’t realize 29 states are CC and NC may make #30 fairly soon.

We need to support this. Please :pray:encourage your elected representatives now.

It might get defeated first time around but, we have to start trying, it’s a start that may take a few more tries. A lot of bills go that route. Not trying will definitely not get it.

Because it has never happened in a socialist country before. :smirk:

Welcome you are probably correct but I would settle for every state excepting each others CCW, LTC or what ever your state calls them.

I agree with you

So you willing this Country will be socialist?

This

indicates that we give up…

That very funny… and weird the same time… I’ve been reading thousands posts at this Community about putting this Country on the proper tracks, how to defend the Constitution, how to fight for our rights… and then we agree with
Unfortunately it will never happen
??? :smirk: :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

It is then one big :ox: :poop:
:rage:

The reins of power are socialist.

TN calls its CCW = a 1-CHP, or 2-ECHP, two different levels.
Carry Handgun Permit, or Enhanced CHP. They are both CCWs that preceded TN’s version of Permitless carry July 1, 2021. All still apply. Of the 3 tiers, ECHP costs more for fees, and training requirements but, affords more acceptance in more places and spaces than the other options. You need at least a CHP not to be prohibited :no_entry_sign: access to state, and national parks, for example, and have reciprocity in over three dozen states vs. at or just shy of two dozen states.

The same seven criteria for not being a prohibited person applies to all three.

So, as a Tennesseean I go obtain either CCW or go Permitless as I choose. But, wanting the greatest freedom possible I will go for the ECHP. But, I don’t have to wait to carry immediate responsibility, just not everywhere I could go with the ECHP.

NY calls it a NYPL NY Pistol License that typically is so restrictive as not to be a true CCW. More are issued for “on premises” At a business and, or home but, not beyond either. So, it’s not a true CCW.

Except a rear unrestricted version like the NY US Senator Chuck Schumer has gotten issued to himself. Go figure that the anti-2A legislation liberals can get an unrestricted license for themselves while restricting = infringing on us mere mortals. And, there are a lot of this hypocrites in that league.

Until the upcoming election. Hopefully that will change, at least that’s what me and mine are voting for.

I have emailed my Member of Congress, Representative John Rose, (R) TN-6 to support this bill: (HR 9534) For National Constitutional (Permitless) Carry Act that would give us the same freedom to carry in every state like we can drive in every state.

It’s an easy enough task, and worth the effort.

Please consider it.

Unfortunately, this is typical for the Republicans. they introduce these bills when they know that they will either never clear the Senate or be vetoed if they do. Did you see any bills like this when they had both Houses of Congress and the Presidency and something may actually have become law?
