My knowledge and familiarity with Signal is limited to commentary around the application, Iāve never personally used it.
After watching the hearing this morning, I am of the opinion that an (possibility of becoming plural) error was made. Having this Goldberg character included in the discussion shouldnāt have happened.
Hopefully after the review(s) of the incident are complete, how and why this happened will be discovered and remedied to the extent warranted and possible.

Itās also worth noting that the testimony given today was that no classified information was discussed. Hegseth, while not present at the hearing, also denied that war plans were discussed. Further, Goldberg has not provided evidence, to our available knowledge, that any classified information was included.
Will this change? Perhaps. If it does, it would be another error and worthy of the appropriate actions to remedy and prevent future occurrences.

End of the day this is egg on the face for this Administration and will give Democrats free ammo to tie them up in hearings for months. Rookie mistakes like these cannot be made, Trump needs to have a serious come to Jesus meeting with all parties involved, it looks bad for him, it looks bad for our Department of Defense and it looks bad for the United States, this stuff cannot happen. He cannot afford to lose the trust of the American People.

I agree. Whether the error(s) is isolated to the inclusion of Goldberg (or any other person(s) who should not be involved) or if it becomes something worse than that, it is not a good look, shouldnāt happen and the appropriate steps must be taken.

No, I want a āresponsibleā person to be responsible. Claiming to be one thing and actually being another is a lie. Be a man and admit what you are. In this case a despicable POS, proven many times over. It will be interesting to find out whether or not it was a mistake or something more nefarious. It will also be important to know who is telling the truth. From past experience, it likely is not him.

Would need to see how his name shows up in the messages, however if it was that easy for him to phish our Government imagine what else is happening. And if that is the case then there is absolutely no way our government should be using Signal. A dumb c.nt who gets access via phishing makes this whole situation a million times worse.
