Glock or Sig Sauer

Yeah, hahaha maybe you should’ve sighted it in. Just kidding

My EDC is a Sig P365, wasn’t a choice, but I have to go with Sig. I’ve never liked the feel of the Glock triggers. I’m former USMC, sidearm was changing over from the 1911 to the Beretta 92 when I was in. Never like Beretta either. Gotta be a Sig for me.

I like the metal magazines in Sigs although they are expensive. Aren’t Glock magazines plastic?

Not exactly plastic… Outside layer is made from “polymer 2”, but the body is steel.

While I don’t currently have a Sig P320, I do own both Glocks and Sigs. I like them both.

Sorry, my mistake. Sig mags are double in price of what they should be.

No worries. I always thought they are plastic, till the moment I tried to shoot the Glocks. Even I don’t like their products, I have to admit, I admire them…

Both…dependent upon METT—T! Sig 938 is most comfortable in a soft pocket holster when I wear a tuck in shirt, G19 or G30 when paddle carried under loose shirt worn untucked.

Most people won’t know what METT-T is.

From 1999—2003, while in Albertshof at Hohenfels, I was surprised how many USAREUR— based units had the same issue!

Since they both function when needed it comes down to aesthetics for me. Glock has the same looks for every model they make. Sig, however, each model looks different. I like variety in how they look even from the same manufacturer.

Glocks seem pretty plain to me for the price point. Now a days hard to find a weapon thats isn’t well made & is reliable. As for sig I wrote them off when the p320 hit the ground & fired injuring the owner. No recall just an update. Yeah done…

I’m not sure if there is any issues with a Sig yet because I have not gotten one though I hardly fire mine .
But for the glocks , I did see how it can be a disaster . Not sure if these people are discharging the correct trajectories or using it properly .
I prefer the sig but all honesty , it’s all in the eye of the beholder .

Welcome to the family and god bless you. I believe they are both reliable guns. What type of problem have you experienced with the Glock? Just curious.

Hi and thank you . I myself don’t own a glock but I would like to one day .
I had only seen videos of the glocks that have malfunctioned but again , not sure if they have handled it the way it should .
I know they are reliable throughout .

Welcome to the family brother and god bless you.

I won’t knock Glock. I’ve never tried one. But I love my Sig P320 XFive Legion. It fits my hand nicely, or maybe after 20,000 dry fire rounds, my hand has fully conformed to the P320.
