The commie AG’s are on the warpath
This is the price you pay, when you become too popular…
Imagine that magazine! 1200 round magazine, amazing and heavy too!
To put it another way, 20 rounds a second. That is certainly something crazy
I don’t think even Jerry Miculek could swap magazines that fast
If the state of California ever saw Jerry, they’d outlaw revolvers because they can shoot as fast as machine guns
Best Glock mag ever… Glock 17/19 (100)rd 9MM Drum BETA CO
It cost more then the gun or close to it …
The factory test rate of full automatic fire with an extended long belt fed machine gun is of course faster than a person pausing to change out limited capacity magazines.
That rating is the capability of that weapon.
With a semi-automatic your rate is how fast you can pull your trigger.
With practice you can speed up some, but that’s not the same as fully automatic.
Minnesota theatrics. Glock does not make a switch. It’s like suing GM for illegal aftermarket equipment someone installed in their Tahoe. Headlines grabbing and a waste of time.
“Get your Glock now”
As it happens, picked up a new G43X MOS yesterday
But also unfortunately a waste of money for Glock having to defend against these frivolous lawsuits.
The anti self defense States don’t mind waisting the time they should instead be using to go after the real criminals. Not to mention the tax payer dollars they have no problem wasting.
Exactly!
HeyHey! I picked up a new Glock yesterday as well. G17.5, $425 with 3x17 mags. Now I Just need the (machined/milled) slide I ordered to come in
Congrats on the new firearm!
Nah they would just outlaw Jerry himself as a dangerous weapon/person.
It does help to limit muzzle rise!
Good day to you, Robert1634, and a warm welcome to the community! We hope that you enjoy your time online with us.
Take care & be well
Don’t forget about the switch
If there are any gunsmiths here? How easy it is to convert other hanguns to full auto (or an AR15 for that matter)? The lawsuit is based on the premise that glock should have redesigned their guns to make them harder to convert to full auto - like other popular guns. Is the glock substantially easer to convert? Basically any schmo can buy the switch and install - it requires no skill, while other guns may require a gunsmith? If that is true, there may be a case here. The nuissnace law they are relying on is very vague. Get the right jury and anything can happen.
I don’t understand the basis for thinking there may be a case there.
Is there, like, some legal requirement that a manufacturer go out of their way to make sure their products require a certain minimum level of skill to use illegally or modify to make them illegal?
Let’s take shotguns and rifles…how hard is it to put it into a vice and hacksaw the barrel shorter? Should they be held accountable for when some does that? Or should the movie producer be held accountable because someone got the idea from watching Terminator?
Why is anyone other than the person who committed the crime at fault for something here?
