Do you respond to people that maybe give you a look if they happen to see your gun?

you see, I thought your handle here was Robert_25words… clearly that was not the case. Great story. But remember that scene in “A River Runs Through It” where the pastor keeps telling his son to reduce the word count of his essay by half. Yeah… great movie.

Yup! It’s in the opening to this thread: Perfect shirt for concealed carry?

It’s not my job to make people feel comfortable if I’m concealing. If someone were ask if, and depending on how they asked, would warrant a no, or no response at all. They’re simply not entitled.

People should recognize lawful people are going to carry where laws allow them to…

Honestly for a lot of years now people don’t even talk to each other anymore much less notice what you’re wearing or not. People are too busy with their second and third jobs working. I have become accustomed to minding my own business and keeping my thoughts to myself. Unless you live in a tiny town like Mayberry, who cares what you’re wearing or have on you? The only ones looking is nobody. I never ran into a situation like printing because nobody even cares for all they know it could be a medical device of some sort. Life is too short to be gawking at the neighbors , now they can call the police for perversion or like my mom used to say in her generation they apparently used the term “mopery” back in the 1940’s

@Robert8 I had to laugh when I read that. Because I used to live in Mayberry for 16 years for real. Actually, the town’s name is Mount Airy, NC. It was Andy Griffith’s home town. They also based the town of Mayberry in the show off of Mount Airy at the time. Oh Mount Pilot is Pilot Mountain, NC as well. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

@Lacy I know about Mt Airy and I watched all the Andy Griffith shows when I was a child. I tried to use that as an example because nobody pays attention to people anymore or people are otherwise too busy and people just don’t care because they don’t want to get involved. Many reasons what motivates people to mind their own business. Your town was just an example not meant to offend you or anyone else.

@Robert8 I’m not offended in any way. I don’t live there anymore. Just found it hilarious to be used as an example.

Ok Lacy, Thank you. Have a nice day.

I would ignore the person and just go about my business. If they said something I would simply and politely wish them a nice day and go about my business. The last thing you should do is to respond to them and give them an opportunity to recite negative comments about yourself or carriers in general. Always present a positive image to the public.

@Robert149 Exactly we do not need to have empty headed Liberal Talking Points. In addition to that it’s very likely you’re never going to incur that person ever again.

They never see mi gun. To me C/C means just that. I carry a Glock 43 in warm weather with a loose fitting shirt, untucked. Cold weather is easier since I’m cold natured and wear a heavy coat when I’m out.

@Michael7 Exactly Michael, I really don’t wear loose fitting shirts ever and Hawaiian shirt is is that it’s just not me I do have a few shirts like Charlie Sheen wore in Two and a Half Men. But I’m seriously not a Hawaiian shirt guy

LOL…I can’t picture myself in a Hawaiian shirt. Just doesn’t fly in Missouri. Like most men, I wear what my wife picks out for me. She keeps me stylish while keeping my firearm concealed. Thanks Robert8 for making me laugh. It’s been a long hot day here.

Any time Mike, I love making people laugh and spread a little happiness and cheer. Life isn’t as serious as we humans make it out to be sometimes.

@Zee @Michael7 There’s a word that immediately comes to mind about what these shirts remind me of who would wear but all I can say is :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting::flushed::flushed::flushed:
