I’m getting nervous it’s been 5 weeks still no card .. a friend went after me and got his weeks ago

@Kasimu Welcome to the community! As for your CPL it’s probably in the works, and it is 45 days, it’s not quite there yet, but almost, just give it a little more time, sometimes things move a little slow (metamucil 
), especially if it’s your first time. As for your friend, he may already be in the system and maybe his is a matter of renewal. You weren’t specific, but give a couple weeks, then give them a call for an update.

I got mine in about 7 days but I had a CPL in a different state, military clearance and customs clearance. I was already well in the system. Hell, they even have my DNA, thanks uncle sam……

I’d recomend going to proper thread first (link shared by @Karacal) and introduce yourself.
This way we will know more about you and it would be easier to help you with your issue.
Even I’d like to respond with some info… I’m not going to give you 51 responses for each State.
Then you might take deep breath, enjoying welcome responses and call or send an email next morning asking for replacement.
The worst habit is to start being nervous without real reason…
