It’s really personal / individual. The huge no for me was that my EDC is Compact size and with the way I wear pants it didn’t work. First - it gives a weird look, like you have wife’s purse hidden in your pocket. Second, holster cannot be easily pulled up with all my handguns. It gets stuck on the belt.
In my case it didn’t work at all.
You still have it sell it to the guy asking for one I’m about to sell some miscellaneous gun parts cheap
I’m like you. We have Rugers ,Smith and Wesson And buy whatever fits our hands for and feels good for us. Brands doesn’t matter. It’s how the pistol feels and shoots.
Folks, IMHO the only things that matter are (1) reliability, and; (2) accuracy. Anything else is just nice to have. No matter how nice it feels in the hand, no matter how good it looks, or how much ammo it holds, if it is not dead solid reliable it’s junk. Several years ago I purchased a new Kimber Solo. Loved the way it felt in hand, the way it looked, and how easy it was to conceal. At the time it was the most expensive handgun I’d ever owned. It was quite accurate, however it was a jam o magic. Over 400 rounds of defensive quality ammo ran through it AFTER following the mfgr’s “break in” recommendations to the letter and it still never ran a full magazine without an issue (FTF or FTE). It never made it to a rotation cycle, and after the mfgr had it back and returned it it was still no go. After trying another 100 rds of defensive grade (expensive) ammo of various type and the same results it found a new home.
