Which Glock to choose?

AHAHahahahaaa  You, my friend, have officially taken up residence in the GlockenZone. Welcome! :innocent:

I have shot both G43 and Sig 365. To me there is little to compare due to the amazing feel, accuracy, size and capacity of the Sig to the Glock. Now the Sig 365 latest gen. is going for under $500, G43 price. No brainer.

The Glock 20 is super sweet. Doesnā€™t kick as much as some people would think. I love it, but then I am a bit biased when it comes to Glock.

You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile!!!

I always said Iā€™d never buy a Glock. Donā€™t tell anyone, but I picked up a 22 gen 4 on a good deal at a friends shop a couple weeks ago. I ā€œaccidentallyā€ dropped a 357 Sig barrel and they happened to fuse together so that I couldnā€™t get them apart. Thatā€™s my story anyway.
Iā€™ve decided I like the FrankenGlock. A lot.
Who knows, I may buy another Glock and just enjoy it pristine. Who is this Pristine anyway? I keep seeing the name mentioned.
I have a pretty varied selection to compare to here. I think I like this a lot.

@Bugleboy I recently bought a second G21 .45 gen3 to convert to a carbine. It was an older police training trade-in that had been in the FFLs stock for a whileā€¦ and the barrel has rifling. Canā€™t be the original barrel because glock barrels are polygonal. Looks like itā€™s a FrankenGlock as well. It wonā€™t matter since itll be getting a carbine barrel but Iā€™ll be keeping that with the spares just in case :slightly_smiling_face:

Toys really are us, huh?

Glock 23 gen4 is my choice and love it. Itā€™s one of my EDC other than my more compact Taurus G2C.

G23 is what my hubby carriesā€¦ unless itā€™s one of his other Glock .40s
Welcome to the group @JAMIE!

I thought with the G22ā€™s trigger I would not be able to get a smooth trigger snap without a lot of work. To my surprise, when I did my dry fire drill with a spent cartridge balanced on the slide, I could keep the muzzle still without taking too much pull time.
I was impressed.
Now what Glock will be my second? I never thought Iā€™d buy the first. Iā€™m not that terrible with it either.
Target acquisition isnā€™t bad either. Very little to confuse the eyes.
My apologies for calling these homely guns ugly.

I think of them as ā€œindustrialā€. Beauty is as beauty does. Any tool that really works is A Thing of Beauty to me

I would suggest you take a look at the G19X. It is a very nice weapon and shoots extremely well. With the night sights on it the weapon is a fine defense weapon.

My two cents.

I second the 19X vote, or maybe the G45. My first 3 shots with my 19X looked like a clover, I was very impressed. That was all gun, the full sized grip with the short slide ( less reciprocating mass) is amazing.

Itā€™s ok to call glocks homely. I think of them as a face for radio. Not much to look at but can sing

Have you put your g45 through a good bit of usage? Also do you have any info on companies that sell trust worthy Glock parts such as the completed firing pin assembly?
