Hello @troy7, I’m actually down in S.C., but close enough. I do have family in NC (Murphy, Raleigh, and Charlotte).
Well…over here where I live in a non-free, socialist county, we serfs aren’t allowed to have a CCW unless we are a) retired LE or Fire Dept., b) a VIP like an actor, even an anti-2A actor, or c) “donate” a lot of coin to the Sheriff in charge of CCWs. You can equate ‘c’ with bribery since bribes have been a way of life in this county for decades. Also, because of the demography, CCWs are a no no because in the words of a recent journalist from a well-known newspaper, the NRA catering to women and minorities is very dangerous!
Soooooo…I carry mace, a folder knife with a clip, and a small but very powerful stun-gun flash light. Sadly, even knives are highly regulated in this county. We have to be very careful with the length of the knife we carry.
