Fall EDC 2023

Hello my USCCA family. Fall is soon approaching and it’s time to change our clothing. Jackets will be in order. This can also cause a change in our EDCs. I am interested in seeing what our family members are carrying. Here is my fall EDC.

No change.

G19 w/RMR, POM OC, Cloud Defensive MCH HO, a utility minded 3-4" pocket knife, keys, wallet, phone, watch.

Okay, maybe somedays the G17 w/RMR will come out in place of the 19

Edit: We’re still at 80*+ daily highs but even in February, the above still applies

No change for me as well.
Still the same setup.

Only less money in the wallet :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Pretty much the same as in the summer. I DO however want/need to add a knife and some type of paracord accessory.

Absolutely no changes, I keep everything exactly the same

What types of knives do you like? There are at least several knife guys on this site. I would like to believe I am one of them, but there are at least several that are far more advanced than I.

I’m not real big on stuff in my pockets. I’m thinking 5-6 inch, clip in pocket type. One that’s secure but easy to pull and open with one hand, that’s how we train, in a fight defending with one hand and going for the blade with the other. Not to sound pretentious here, cost will not be the guiding factor, I’m all about quality and will pay for it.

CRKT Fossil Folding Pocket Knife: Stainless Steel Plain Edge EDC Folder with Frame Lock, Everyday Carry Folded Knife, with Satin Blade Finish 5470 - Amazon.com

Also bought this to carry mine, I took the pocket clip off.
VIPERAED PJ11 Leather EDC Pocket Slip for Folding Knife, Mini Knife/Flashlight/Multitool and Other EDC Gear Leather Holster, Small Leather Utility Knife Sheath for Belt(Brown) - Amazon.com

CRKT apparently stopped making these, $100.00 on CRKT.I found mine at Wallyworld for the same price as Amazon, $55.28. I bought 3 about 3 years ago so I have had a lot of time to play, and I love them every day.
Very sturdy and fast knives, the handle design gives you a good grip at different angles. Will sharpen razor sharp and hold an edge.

No change.
I love fall when I could wear a vest or coat for better concealment. :fallen_leaf:

Spartan Blade knives are nice, I have a fixed blade from them. I also like Zero Tolerance, too. One of my EDC folders is from there. Both USA steel and manufactured. CRKT is good, too. I have a couple of those, too. They do have knife makers that use US steel, but you need to watch out for Chinese steel as that is also used.

I carried Gerber for 40 years then I tried a Benchmade Barrage assisted opening and I will never go back, and assisted opening is legal in all 50 states and they’re made in the USA

Here, ya go. But, be forewarned. TSA considers this to be a deadly weapon.

Who makes that USCCA knife. USCCA sent me one made by spiderco. It was very poor quality. Yours looks like it possibly be Cold Steel.

It’s a Kershaw Emerson and the blade says CHINA on it. I love it and it looks well made. I carry it everyday. I did see they offer a Spyderco one.
