My wife is Catholic and we attend church on a fairly regular basis. I cannot say I’m a staunch believer in Catholicism considering the many scandals that have plagued Rome. But I do admire and respect the traditions. I’m a Christian that carries. I do not carry because I am a Christian. I would guess that the vast majority in my church do not carry or own a gun because they believe Jesus wouldn’t have carried a weapon. But this pastor has brought the receipts. I agree with him. You who are reading this needn’t do the same. I believe there is a God and I also believe there is a devil. That is why I carry.
I don’t know if there is a G-d. I thank him for giving me the compassion to save lives every morning just in case.
You would be surprised how many of us Catholics carry and I believe for some reason you are confused on our beliefs. I come from a very strong Catholic back ground and many in my family and church believe in carrying. We had a Nun and a Priest in the family.
He was one of us, his name was Jesus. And remember Jesus told his disciples to sell your cloak and buy a sword.
As a pagan, I believe god is all of us.
Not an individual above us, nor controlled by an individual amongst us.
All energy is connected and no energy can ever be destroyed.
So I just finished reading the Glock V thread. Hopped over to this thread and read your words above as “sell your Glock and buy a sword.”
I’m laughing at myself. Freudian slip in my brain. I need a nap.
God walked this earth as Jesus Christ. And thank GOD He did. Thank you, my Savior. Thank you!!
Actually given the price of Glocks today, I’d say buy a few ugrades. But not a barrel.
Oh yeah, there is an Almighty God. Is anybody going to attend the anniversary of his, (Jesus, the son of God), memorial as Jesus said to do? Luke 22:19&20. (2 April, Thursday at sundown). Originally Nisan 14, (Jewish calendar). No, It has nothing to do with being Jewish or not. His father and Jesus will take notice. John 17:3. It’s a worldwide event. The public is invited and it’s free. No collection plates, no active soliciting for donations, nothing for sale. No obligations. Personally, I firmly support that god-given right at birth to everyone to believe whatever they want.
Nisan 14 5786 Is Wed. April 1. Today is Nisan 11
Please check how the calendar works. Sundown starts a new day.
Thanks I never knew that.
So Thursday at sundown is Nisan 15.
I never knew anything about the Jewish calendar nor did I care untill about 16 years ago. I wanted to understand about all the Hebrew festivals. I started studying the Bible, using reasoning. Took over 18 months to go thru it. Since then, I start all over 18 months to 24 months. Love Jesus and his father. Jesus is referred to, (sometimes he refers to himself), over 40 times as the son of God and over 80 times as the son of man in the New testament. I spent most of my life as a atheist. Sex, drugs, r&r. I went to Jesus about 35 years ago. But didn’t really start studying the Bible till about 16 years ago. There’s a Hugh difference between reading and studying. I firmly believe and support everyone’s right to believe whatever they want to believe. Yep, I carry, sometimes several.
It is controversial. Passover, The Last Supper & The Day of Crucifixion

Hahahaha! Great. I really like Nissans. 160,000 mi. On an 85 Nissan PU. The Judean calendar Is confusing to say the least. For a long time, I couldn’t figure out the 3 days till Jesus was resurrected. In reading the account of his sacrifice, (murder), I knew Saturday was the Sabbath. That confused me even more. The Judean calendar is a lunar calendar determined by the moon.. Our Gregorian calendar is determined by the sun. I didn’t know the Judean Sabbath started Friday at sundown. I also started learning translations to key Hebrew and greek biblical terms, using lexicons. like soul. Hell, heaven, God, ECT. I was very surprised! The Bible started making sense to me.
Yeah I didn’t know what the round thing was with the little lines and the numbers 1-12 was. ![]()
There is a God and I serve Him. I’m the director of my church security team.
