Right now either 9mm or 38 special, I’ve thought of switching to 45 acp or 10mm

I got a American arms 5 shot revolver 22mag. I wouldn’t carry they misfire not reliable I know 3 other people who have the same revolver and the same problem

The two I’ve had personal experience with have had no such issues.
Terrifying to shoot and impossible to control, yes…. But went bang every time they were asked to do so.
That said, I don’t own one. And won’t likely buy one.
I have two (2) CCW’s one from Ca. Stanislaus county and the other from Utah I currently have Springfield 9mm and 40 caliber used to have an S/W MP shield but it didn’t fit my hand right so I gave, transferred it to my son. I do have a ? For you how did you get so many pistols listed on your California CCW, I was only allowed to list two and even then they left my 40 caliber off of it

I carry a 380 ,I can carry this firearm in my hip pocket. Great for close range.

My carrie is a Glock 43x 9mm and a Kimber ultra carry ll 45 , also carry a R Ruger American and a Kimber custom both 45acp and a Taurus 9mm
I personally rely on the 9mm ruger security-9

I carry .40 S&W for both work and self defense I like it because it has more stopping power than 9mm and mor accuracy than .45 in my opinion
Service weapon is S&W M&P 40
Self defense weapon is Taurus G3C in .40

I’m in the middle of changing from a 9MM to a .40 S&W. I’m breaking in my New Muddy River Tactical for my Glock 23. I’m spending quite a bit of time at the range with my .40, want to be as comfortable and accurate with this new EDC as I am with good ole Kimberly…

Had a Glock 20 aways back. Didn’t fit hand also. Heard someone say it was like holding a 2X4. I had a hand injury on active duty. I can shoot heavy recoil with a good fit. Or bad fit with lighter recoil. can’t have both on same firearm.

For me it was something about the design I have 2XL hand size and the distance of the trigger placement was the problem when holding trigger finger always was to far into trigger well when I moved my finger to use my fingertip it changed my grip cause my shot to go high right on the target

Since CA is enforcing the 10 round mag limit again, 9m advantages are limited too. My urban carry is a compact 45 Glock 30s with a S&W 686 38 for backup. Out in the woods I go back to my rock steady and reliable S&W 686 357. As CA continues to restrict our 2nd amendment rights, we are forced to adapt.
