Hi All, I’m Grumpy, Like in the seven dwarfs. A nickname picked up long long ago in the AF and then in law enforcement. I’m a little over 70, been carrying since 18. EDC is S&W Mod 2 9MM. Thanks for all the info and help. Looking forward to adding something when appropriate. Thanks

Hi everyone, I am Kathleen and although my husband has been shooting for his entire life however; I am relatively new.
I am here to learn and be a responsibly armed American. I have always been prepared in other areas of life and now is the time for me to be responsible carrying a firearm and learning all I can on how to be. I shoot at the property that we own often as well as the range once in a while but no official training, which I want. My husband is a gem but he starts at step 4 instead of 1 because he learned so long ago and it comes natural and easy to him. That is why I took a motorcycle training class with an instructor instead of letting him teach me.
My immediate family & friends are anti gun and we talk about ownership but they seem not to be willing to change so I do not push. Everyone’s opinions are their own.
My husband is also a member in the USCCA and we are excited to learn more.

There are a pretty good number of women here, both new and with lots of experience, so feel free to ask questions that fall into the ‘women shooter’ category, as well as all the other stuff everyone is interested in. You can get lots of your ‘new shooter’ questions answered as well, so jump in with whatever you want to know!

Hiya! I’m Hailey. I’m a disabled Vet, Navy. I’m 37. I’ve been apprenticing as a blacksmith for 4 years, I’m a member of CBA, California Blacksmith Association. I have an amazing 13 year old who my husband and I are incredibly proud of, he amazes us every day. My husband is amazing and sweet, and I love him dearly. We have two dogs, One full husky, my service dog Mara Jade, and our husky mix rescue, Loki. A cat, Vanilla, two snakes, a 7ft Red Tail Boa, Flash, and a 4ft Ball Python, Squeezy. Had a horse named Loki. I took some blacksmithing classes but didn’t love it enough to do the hard work. You have my respect!

Hey my name is Mike, I have an extensive security background. Currently work Executive Protection. Also was an FPO for the USAF Security Forces Special Operations Wing for over two years. I have been a long time member and continue to train and try and understand all the rules that separate what I do and the average citizen.

Hello all. My name is Albert I’m from Southern California. I’ve been shooting for a little over six years but in the past two years I have gotten more serious about firearms training education and competition. I own two Gen3 glocks G17 and G19. I’m a member of Glock Sports Shooting Foundation which is a great organization. I just recently joined my local outdoor gun club and they offer a load of great classes and training. I have sign up for inside the home and outside the home defensive pistol course and the NRA instructors course because I want to train and educate family and friends. I’ve been a member of USCCA for a fee months and I’m here to soak up as much knowledge as I can and share what I have learned.
