Greetings. Happy to have this resource and hopefully connect with people concerned about protecting themselves and others during this period of disruption and hopefully change. Be well everyone.
Thank you for the warm welcome, and I’m excited for this organization’s future. Seeing how we communicate with our members, and the quality of education resources available, gives me confidence that we can improve the culture towards firearms and their ownership in this country.
Hi and thanks for the welcome. I’m Jack (Jack21 here) and I’ve been familiar with guns since I was a kid and belonged to an NRA kids rifle group. Now my main interest is self-defense and defense of my home and family. Unfortunately, I live in California for the past 40 years (you want to take that thing outside? Not a chance buddy). I’ve actually considered picking up roots and replanting somewhere else less restrictive. I’ve been around long enough to take advantage of the great training here, and I look forward to learning more.
Welcome Curtis and big thumbs up I hope you enjoy all the videos and info.
welcome Robert, glad to have you aboard and enjoy all the videos and info

Hello I am Sam and I am from Memphis and I am 60 years old. And always put off having a gun because well I guess I was more worried about someone getting hurt with it like a child then myself actually needing it for self-defense. However given the recent events and the death of my father which I’ll explain later, I decided I wanted a gun. I have not had a self-defense class yet but my wife and I did purchase a Smith and Wesson M & P shield 2.0 EZ version in a 9 mm we have shot one hour on the lane and are signed up at shoot point Blank for a class on the 27th. It’s been hard to find ammunition locally. I am considering some guns for my own weapon and we each are probably going to take the concealed weapons class to get our permit
My father had talked about giving me his guns when he died for years and he never got around to it. He had a Ruger, operator, a Clock, and a couple of others and I always remembered him sitting at the table when I was young cleaning his guns. I did shoot rifles when I was in my early teens and had a rifle course from the local sheriff. My father died and my sister Bogarted in the weapons and I think she sold them.
I started posting another sub forms and you can probably see that I probably overanalyze everything making sure I buy the right one and not wasting money. Because of the tremendous amount of sales in the Memphis area, there are few were guns to handle and the ones that I’m interested in are not always able to be rented

Hello USCCA Family! My name Lee I’m from Michigan bored and raised. I’m currently living in the state of Alabama for two years now. Two year ago I was in a very bad car accident where an 18 wheeler ran me off the side of the road and I ended up hitting a tree and flew out the front windshield, broke every bone in my body, lost my left leg and was in a coma for 3 month. Thank to the man upstairs he giving me a second chance in life. I wanted to share my story on how I became an USCCA member, by me being disabled I become an east target to be rob which is suck. Never own a gun in my life so one day I decided I think it time so I can finally brought a gun to protect myself if anything ever happen to me again and I’m so thankful to hear about USCCA so I had to become a member.
The no it all’s don’t want opinions.
Heck already been slammed for my pointed opinions.
That’s baby stuff…you know …like f/b… Twitter. And I hate f/b and Twitter.
Being armed calls for calm…composed…respectful ECT.
Not half cocked and offended by someone’s post.
Which only proves my point.
Gun owners …hunters… whether it’s ccw or whatever are looked apon based on the actions of others.
The ones that shoot in neighborhoods…or areas they think is Safe.Dogs howling…kids in the back yard.
Sorry to say Soo soon that I have experienced shamming for my
Very Right opinion.
There is no mistake that we as gun owners and hunters ect get a bad rap because of the behavior of others.
I will say that here in NC if you fire a weapon …any weapon…and it is ( capable ) of crossing property lines You are breaking the law.
( Capable) is key.
All that being said.
I’m just gonna remove myself from all this opinion stuff and remain a member for my leagal and training information.
Last note to the bullies on the site:
A few years ago in Charlotte NC…
A knucklehead fired a .22 rifle from his rual property…
Over a half mile away from his shooting …a child was hit and killed by his .22 near Carrollwind amusement park.
With the help of neighbors and a community they found that guy.
Charged manslaughter.
Point!
Now the whole county is shotgun only .
Unless on a State approved (Range). Good luck with that…No hunting…no target shooting of any type with any cal rifle.
I stand by my post regarding this opinion.which I challenge anyone.
I’m sure your military veterans have a professional opinion on this .
Unless you have watched thosands…hundreds of thousands or tracer rounds go downrange in a combat situation or on a fireing line…
You have no clue what happens …more so what can happen when a bullet strikes any object.
I do!
That berm some person built on what…a few acres or whatever in his neighborhood… rual community whether it’s 3ft high or 16ft high ain’t gonna do it.
That was my opinion (Professional)…
I used to say welcome to the community, now I say welcome to the family and you are blessed.
God bless you brother and welcome to the family and god is good.
Yes it is and thank you
