Vote accordingly.

If there is one thing I have learned from my study of history, it is that civilization is a tenuous thing and it is not the norm of humanity. (Spend 15 minutes in an Afghan village and I am positive you will agree.) Additionally, history shows us that brutal tyranny, wholesale human slaughter, abject poverty, pestilence, famine and non-stop suffering are the standard course of humanity, and peaceful, prosperous civilization is the extremely rare exception.
The idea that because the USA has survived as a place of relative prosperity and freedom for 250 years means it will continue to do so indefinitely is an absurd assumption that collapses under the slightest bit of historical scrutiny. In 2024, we see Europe descending into fascist tyranny and war, we see Jihadist religious zealotry globally destroying societies and populations, and we see James Bond-style trillionaire villains in Davos plotting to subjugate us all and feed us bugs in the name of a fabricated “climate crisis.”
The warning signs are all around us. Given the right circumstances, civilization inside the USA could collapse in a mere matter of weeks or months, with suffering and genocide of Old Testament proportions. This is a real, tangible threat, and it is not hyperbole to say so.
We now stand astride an election decision that may very will be the difference between the successful continuation of the American Constitutional experiment or the Visigoths coming over the Seventh Hill and putting us all to the sword.
Civilization is not assured. Freedom, liberty and prosperity are not assured.

“You Sir have been paying attention” (sorry Brother Ron–I couldn’t resist using your beautiful line)

Leo, If the Mighty Greeks, Roman’s, Russian EMPIRE (you don’t get to use the term EMPIRE unless you earn it), The Japs and lest we not forget the German ‘THIRD REICH!’
FELL! What say’s looking @ History that we are IMMUNE to that same fate? Hmmmmmm?

We might not be immune, but we definitely won’t let it happen because if it does we will pick our selves up dust ourselves off and back in the saddle again. :notes: Waka Waka :notes: This time for America.

The loss of our way of life is on the ropes, not from the prospect of war, but economics. The possibility of the US $ no longer being the reserve currency is one of our greatest threats. This should be one of our major considerations when you go to the voting booth.

When empires start to fail economically their leaders often turn to war in order to distract the masses from all their failures and crimes that lead to the economic collapse. I strongly suspect we will be seeing economic failure and war in the not too distant future regardless of which set of kleptocrats get our votes in November.

No, you’re CURRENTLY seeing economic failure and war as a direct result of the massively failing progressive actions of the current administration. So we can change horse and tactics or go straight into WW 3 with an extension of the policies we have NOW.

I respectfully disagree. Our problems and our debt have been uncontrollably escalating for the past several decades under Democrats and Republicans. The past actions of both parties have buried us in this debt death spiral. I haven’t seen any proposals from either party that will undo the massive damage they have both done.

Every time the United States goes to war or do a (police action) we the people suffer. Not just by the lives we have lost but the money our nation’s leaders spend doing so. Look at how much money we have spent on Ukraine and Israel. I am not saying it is wrong of us but that it does affect us, and it would affect us if we did nothing more.
The whole pulling out of Afghanistan is even more messed up. I cannot have a M-249 but we can leave them for the enemy? That is just messed up! I would especially like a M-240 B! Why not, it is America! How about an M-24 then? HEY, a guy can wish!

The coup of 2020, combined with the subsequent loss of our sovereignty have been the one-two punch that have brought us to our knees in less than four years.

That is plain as day.

Your words ring true, and sensibilities are in order. The world and its people always change for the better or worse. We must choose the former because the latter leads to misery and deprivation.

And I will respectfully agree with some of what you said but at least until 2019 we were reversing trends even though the entire swamp was busy fighting Trump every step of the way in every decision and the Democrats wasted million after million prosecuting and handcuffing Trump with impeachments based on nothing.

Then Covid hit and when Trump was trying to get people to think rationally about it everyone threw everything against him. When he stopped immigration they called him a racist, and the they accused him of underplaying the “pandemic” which we now know was pretty much bullshlt with hospitals padding numbers assigning every death to Covid. So he pushed the pharm as to come up with a vaccine in record time because he was the inky one with the balls to do it. And then the idiots in this country decided they needed a change.

So Biden comes in and stops our energy independence in its tracks and gives away almost 10 trillion in dumb ass packages so we plunge into a spiral of inflation and spending without accountability.

So the ONLy guy that tried to reverse tha years of damage got canned before his changes could bear fruit and NOW we need to get him back to hopefully get this train back in the rails, because what we have right NOW is a world class, shlt-show, dumpster fire of EPIC proportions and a global tinder box that’s about to turn into WW 3.

I agree with you. This country has gone down hill for a long time and we have to make it back to what it use to be to .

Civilation gas always bee threatened with extinction, as it is today. Since man’s first tenuous steps until today we have had would be dictators threatening our freedom. From Satan, to Ghengis Kahn, to Adolf Hitler, ti Sadam Hussain (SP?), to Vladimir Putin (depending upon your leanings) we have always had someone threatening the World’s and America’s freedom. Our strength is in our personal beliefs and our soliditary. As long as everyone respects the beliefs of others and their right to express those beliefs, we will be a free country. The vote is the common denominator a nd respecting the results of the nation’s decision is the bond we have as Americans.

As long as we are allowed to confirm that the election was legitimate, I don’t think anyone would have a problem with this. Why would we not be allowed to question the legitimacy (Verify) results if the results are indeed “legitimate”? Seems like the verification process should be harmless then, doesn’t it?

As long as the ones being accused of cheating are in titled to a speedy trial. Isn’t that how it works. Accusing someone of cheating without credible proof of it is a waste of time weather one is innocent or guilty.

History does repeat itself. Like the Roman’s we’ve engaged in too many foreign wars; allowed too many foreigners into the US without assimilating; the government corruption; an education system that teaches hatred of our founding principles; and a society on the verge of civil war - it’s been a great run, but all good things come to an end.
