I have read your response. Thank you. Does the policy take into account that a conviction may not always be the correct decision and therefore allow for continued payments for an appeal?
All cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. If you are convicted, all coverage for that specific incident ends as insurers are generally prohibited from providing coverage for criminal acts.
I was a member of usls and after reading about your program decided to switch. Hope i am not disappointed.
Welcome to the family @Ron97 and you are blessed to be here.
Thanks!!
I originally joined to keep up to date on the news concerning our gun rights, then took the next step for the liability insurance and training. Plan to be a life long member!!
Welcome to the family brother @Randall29 and you are in the right place at the right time.
With the current state of the US, it is now more important than ever to be able to defend yourself, your family, and your property. The current Biden Administration wants to defund police. We have criminal cartels all over America. We have BLM and Antifa running rampant. Criminals have been emboldened. There is a much great chance for physical assault on Americans. We need to be prepared both training wise and liability wise.
THANK YOU USCCA for the FREE class and resources provided tonight. VERY informative and ALL your people were professional.
I will be upgrading to elite tomorrow !!!
I am not a computer person so I need help adding Michael T. Burns as my lawyer choice.
I Love being a part of USCCA .
Like many I came for the liability insurance protection, but I really enjoy the community and the topics that are posted in this forum.
I joined for the insurance and to gain new training modalities that I really agreed with the philosophy of. I have since expanded my training to competition and love instructing as well. I am passionate that we should all be age and comfortable with our ability to defend ourselves and keep our loved ones safe. There is no substitute for the inner peace and strength it can give a woman to know she can do it and she doesn’t need anyone to do it for her.
Then you are not using the resources available. There is NO other organization that provides the training information, feedback, expertise, and reliable opinions through USCCA.
@USCCA
Can you cancel my magazine subscription. My so receives on here so two of the same thing is overkill.
@KillJoy - you betcha! You’re all set!
You didn’t serve in Viet Nam, did you. Can you say we are really ‘winning’ in the Middle East? Yeah, we’re killing and dying, and maybe ‘they’ are losing, but are we winning? I don’t want to fight my government. I want to win at the ballot box. There are things in the Constitution I am not happy with, but that matters little. If enough of us want to change a provision, we can. But we don’t get to decide by ourselves,or with thousands of other like minded individuals.
trying to figure this out test rep;y
Welcome to the family @Oldsetter! We are glad you found us!
I actually initially stumbled on this community. I was trying to figure out something, what it was I can’t remember. All of the people here we’re really helpful! Then I started looking into USCCA and all the benefits of membership, and after looking around, I decided to join. I joined for the liability insurance and training material, but the community has kept me around. While we sometimes get a little heated in some threads, y’all are really a great bunch of people. I really enjoy reading and tossing in my .02.
Welcome to the family brother @Oldsetter and you are in the right place at the right time.

What service I have, my parents had, grandparents had, brother has, cousins have, friends have, colleagues have, etc., etc., is entirely irrelevant. But…I don’t think we’re in disagreement. Try as I am, I can’t find what you’re disagreeing with me on.
No, I don’t think we’re winning. Trillions of dollars spent, lost, wasted, and unaccounted for,…thousands of our citizens dead,…hundreds of thousands of their citizens dead in spite of the Bush Jr. era banner is clear evidence of that. It’s no wonder that the two men representing America at its most divided for a half-century, Biden and Trump, agree on even this one thing and that’s getting the hell out. You’ll find no sunlight between us on that point!
On the ballot box: again, I don’t know where we disagree here either. If somebody is an American citizen, I don’t care if they’re the scum of the Earth, I still believe it’s their right to vote and that their right to vote should be totally and completely unencumbered.
Revisiting my reply, it came across as snide, and I didn’t mean it to. Most wars are fought for power, and lost politically. It didn’t work for Jeff Davis, but guerrilla warfare can sap the will of the people of the aggressor country, and politicians lose their support. No, The People could never defeat the full power of the United States military, but only a crazy person would nuke their own citizens. We COULD be utterly defeated (the military has some awesome firepower), but what would our cousins in NY and Cal. feel about that. I don’t fear dying for freedom, but I do fear the complete destruction of this “Grand Experiment”. I brought up Viet Nam as an example of how we can lose. I certainly didn’t mean to demean the sacrifices you and your family have made in defense of our country. And by that I mean our Constitution, which requires us to serve when called, no matter our feelings on the matter. I apologize.
