The line-up for the 2022 USCCA Expo has been posted along with the first hotel listing. Looks like a great line up of speakers, plus a good hotel rate. I’ve already booked mine and can’t wait for the Expo! Hope to see ya’ll there!
Hope to see as many of you there as possible!
I’m curious which seminars others are planning to attend; I’ve signed up for:
Skills Building: Preparing for a Gunfight with Dave Young
Advanced Concealed Carry: Close-Quarters Shooting & Weapons Retention with Don Gulla & Gary Drake
and
Firearms Survival Tactics: When Your Life Depends on Your Performance with Dave Young
I don’t currently have anything picked for Friday because I’ll be coming over from a hunting trip and need to determine when I will actually arrive. If it looks like, I’ll arrive on time I’ll be adding:
Intruder Awareness & Church Security Reality-Based Training 2 in 1 with Donna Anthony
So, which of the seminars are you planning on attending?
That convention center has a number of separate seminar rooms, but today the site only listed events in the main room, all of which are apparently added cost PAID COURSE…
Will there be more seminars offered in the other rooms, too?
Will there be seminars or presentations that are free for all registered attendees?
I’m ready to go to the USCCA expo. I was going to use my rental car money I have saved up for some of the classes. BUTTTT the USCCA is looking for more instructors and classes for July. So I’ve decided I’m going to wait and see what all of my options are.
Wish it were a bit closer to home, AZ or NV area.
I’ve been planning this since January. Save your money now, contact the USCCA after this one, and ask them when and where is the next EXPO. I have a plane ride and everything set up.
My doctors seem to think me paying them is more important this year.
Any idea when the information on the Expo pages might be updated? I’m aware they were looking for more presenters in July, but nothing has been added yet. I’m just curious what else I might have to look forward to!
There are still events being added for the expo and details are finalized. Once they are set up, they will be added to the Expo Website.
What specifically are you looking for?
The list of free seminars that are included in the admission ticket.
I am primarily looking for information about other events the 1st day of the Expo as I have nothing scheduled for it yet. I’m also curious if anything will be occurring after 5:00 on Friday or Saturday nights? And finally, as Craig mentioned would love to know what if any free seminars might be available.
Only question is WHEN DOES TIM SPEAK?!!! I CAN’T MISS THAT!
60 DAYS BEFORE MY FLIGHT CHECKS IN!!!
@Craig_AR @BlackHawk @Forensic_Wow
All great questions! There will be free seminars on the expo show floor. There are 3 different stages and Tim will be on the main Sig Sauer Stage but that time is still to be determined.
The only classes set in stone are the ones on the Expo website. If anything is added to any of the days, you will see it there.
Times are still being finalized for free seminars as presenters are still finalizing plans with us. Once that is set, it will be posted on the Expo Website.
There are a few meet and greets with Tim. Location and times are still being scheduled but last year there was one on Friday afternoon as well as a meet and greet on Saturday.
We’re excited to have you all join us and make sure to swing by the USCCA Store. I’ll be there and I’m excited about the opportunity to meet you all in person!
Can’t wait to see ya there!
Is there a way to let us know if there are any First aid like Stop The Bleed classes there? That is a skill I’d love to learn.
In the Protector Academy there is a course entitled “Treating Traumatic Injuries” this provides a good overview of how to care for bleeding wounds. It would not take the place of hands-on experience or go as in-depth as a longer course might, but it will give you the basic tools to save a life.
Slap a tourniquet on it. Be careful with the neck wounds!
Hands on class is the way to go, but until you can get to one, I highly recommend the video training courses at Mountain Man Medical, one of the reliable sources for individual first aid kits (IFAK), trauma kits, tourniquets, and other medical supplies.
The course Emergency Trauma Response is free, and
Range Medicine is only $2.00 USD.
The page linked above also has a link to Stop the Bleed so you can find local hands-on courses (usually free).
I know we’re getting a little off topic but I like the kits from mymedic. You can save a bit if your a veteran or first responder if you go through Expert Voice.
