US Air Force Airman Fatally Shot by Police

I’ve looked into this quite a bit since this thread started and the only knock-and-announce I could find is with warrants. There are no laws I could find that state that the police need to announce who they are just to knock on your door.

Now, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t perhaps local policies at various departments, but it is not law as far as I can tell. In fact, if the police think evidence would be destroyed and/or a few other exceptions, they don’t need to announce then either.

A former Florida sheriff’s deputy, Eddie Duran, has been arrested and charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of a Black U.S. Air Force senior airman.

The incident occurred on May 3 when Duran responded to a false domestic disturbance report at the airman’s apartment.

Duran shot the airman, Roger Fortson, multiple times as he opened the door, holding a gun pointed towards the ground. The charge against Duran carries a potential sentence of up to 30 years in prison.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff had previously fired Duran after an internal investigation determined the shooting was unjustified.

He will be found guilty. He shot a black guy and they will put him in prison and then bury him under it when he dies.

We are no longer safe-not even inside our own home–from the police.

Airman killed, because " he had aggression in his eyes", according to sloppy, stupid idiot cop.

Be sure to wear dark sunglasses every time you see a cop. Keep the aggression out of your eyes–or you could get killed, too.

Had a couple of cases around here where the cops made contact with people because they looked away, wouldn’t make eye to eye contact. Looks like we’re damned if we do or damned if we don’t.

That is their modus operandi. They despise the public and want those kills under their belts. Just waiting for that opportunity to arise or to create that opportunity where they can kill someone and get away with it. This stupid cop walked right into his opportunity and took it without hesitation. Premeditated murder is what I’m calling it.

But, not to worry. We got 'em now. Our cameras and their cameras are busting these losers left and right. They’re going to jail, to prison, getting fired, getting demoted, getting killed themselves when they screw up in committing their crimes and trying to cover it up.

If I had it my way, they’d all be on a life sentence with no possibility of parole, just on general principles. Call it a pre-crime conviction and sentence. Get a cop off the streets before he breaks stuff and/or kills someone for nothing. As soon as a rookie cop graduates from acedemy, he should be grabbed, beaten, punched, kicked, clubbed, tazed and shot in the ass–then tossed into the general population of the worst prison in his state for a full six months. Just to remind him of where he’s gonna end up if he tries his power-tripping ways on the public. Prerequisite to being a cop.

You can go to prison, too, cop. And it’s happening now more than ever.

Good.

Cops are far more trouble than they’re worth.

We should start a thread on this forum: Keystone Kops,

It sounds like you have a lot of experience with this topic. Tell us about your personal experiences.

No problem there. If a pigger stips you for not making eye contact, stop him with your Fifth and Sixth Anendments and tell that oinking sideshow freak where to stick his inquiry.

Never speak to the police. Never. Shut them off. Shut them out. Get rid of them. Stay away from them. Do not call the police.

I study police officers and court cases for years now.

The law is most important. You should know your rights and flex them at all times. Especially nowadays, when cops simply don’t know your rights and could care less, in fact they hate your rights and desperately wish you didn’t have any so he could just do whatever he pleases with you and be done with you. That’s the big moment cops across the country are all waiting for: that matrtial law moment where they can simply amp up the brutality to 11 and leave it on.

Know your local laws. Observe them. Don’t speed or break the law–ever. Don’t keep a dirty, rusty old car; it attracts cops, cops think you’re poor, and cops despise poor people and enjoy using them as punching bags. Keep your license, insurance, registration strapped at all times to your visor so you can keep your hands visible at all times so this nervous, scared little twit pigger won’t lose his mind and shoot you when you go to open your glove box to get your papers. Keep your phone or dash cam on for the entire police encounter. In fact, if you can afford it, get a dashcam that records 360 degrees around your car, audio and visual. Don’t rely on getting the cop footage of your sickening encounter. They have ways of making the footage get lost, dissappear or refuse to give it to you when you need it most or maybe not give it to you at all. Or they’ve just erased it all. Or he “forgot” to turn on his camera and there is no footage.

Rule #1: do not speak to police officers under any circumstances. Always invoke your Fifth Amendement right to remain silent immediately. Don’t answer questions, “Where ya been?!” “Where ya headed?!” Etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. He’s just trying to nice you up, butter you up for talking and lead you to the killing floor, to jail, or at least get you out of the car, cuffed-up, roughed-up. They get their jollies with this. It makes a pigger feel like a real man, strokes his overinflated ego to punk you out and push you around.

#2 : follow all lawful orders
 and hope for the best.

Thanks for sharing. :face_with_peeking_eye:

They lose their qualified immunity all the time. This cop likely will, too. That will be decided at a hearing probably soon. Youll have to follow his case and see what happens to him.

That is the great object.
