I have theorized for years that the Chinese could start massive fires in our country like this, using cell phones.
Looks like the Israelis figured out HOW to do it it.

Mossad’s reputation was tarnished after the October 7 massacre. They are working hard to restore it. Good job so far.
If a consumer mobile device on the market can explode by remote command - Houston we have a problem! For starters, teenage idiots will discover the same solution within weeks and people will start getting randomly hurt.
I sure hope this was a batch of compromised devices, kinda like CIA wanted to flood Iraq with faulty detonators. Perhaps Mossad will issue a PSA to clarify.

just wait till you realize what a cheap Chinese EV battery will do. the cellphone batteries are just the tip of the iceberg. You should look into some of the crazy stuff they have found in the cheap junk Chinese consumer electronics coming off of wish and Temu. they will illegally access and crack your home wifi and begin syphoning of your data and uploading it to chinese cloud servers. Ive seen several instances of them cracking the wifi and using the wifi brodcast in pulses and then read the EM radiation to 3d map your house and track individual movements. The amount of this stuff that people have willingly put in their homes is astounding, honestly. Most professional IT people are the LAST people to think “smart homes” are a good idea. that should tell you a lot

an SLI battery doesn’t hold a candle to a lithium ion battery explosion. Been a mechanic for a long time, done a lot of wreck recovery. have seen more than my fair share of hydrogen sulfide explosions from 31 series truck batteries. lithium EV fires cannot be put out. The average car fire takes 3-5000 gallons of water to extinguish. The FD will dump 40,000 gallons on a tesla and it still wont put the chemical reaction out without a type D extinguisher or foam. the water just keeps it from lighting everything around it on fire

100% agree. I have a very dumb home and plan on keeping it that way. I won’t buy a Chinese made cell phone (most iPhone are heavily Chinese). The only thing I’m nor sure if on my network is a Roku.

Until you’re the innocent bystander standing beside one in the checkout line at the local market when the cellphone they are talking into explodes 3-4 feet away from your head. Hezbollah is trash, but sacrificing our morals is not the way to go to achieve victory, you just become what you hate

The difference is Hezbollah kills innocent people on purpose. (Which is called murder.) Israel is the most moral and ethical country there is. ( When it comes to defending themselves.) You are right for having compassion for the innocent people that suffer.
