The same group 31 battery in every semi- in the country. I have seen them come into the shop with corrosion so bad the battery boxes are rotting off the trucks. Checking the condition of the batteries is on the pre-trip inspection and hardly any driver stops long enough to do it.

Something along these lines were tried during World War II.
The Japanese, from subs near the California coast, launched semi-crude balloon bombs. They floated along the airstream, dropping ballast bags of explosives onto the American country side. They largely landed in uninhabited areas of Oregon, Montana, and other northwestern states.
They were thought to be early acts of terrorism. I believe one child was killed by the fleet of Japanese Balloon Bombs.
You see, itās not out of the question.
