I Get IT, It’s certainly a small step in the right direction, BUT, I’m just not sure I want anyone in the California Government or Law Enforcement at the state level to know anything about me.

The 2nd Amendment overrides all state, local and other laws on the issue. They, constitutionally, have no say whatsoever as to who can go anywhere in this country with any “arms” they choose to carry. When you can show me, in the founders own writing, any exception to “shall not be infringed” anything that restricts any rights of firearms owners, carriers, is a violation of the Constitution and if they are a public official, they are in turn in violation of their oath to uphold same and should be removed from office for violating their oath. I firmly believe our forefathers thought this out. I believe it was Franklin who said that anyone trading freedom for security deserves neither. I’m glad to see a little headway being made, but we as gun owners need to get way more active to make sure that laws contrary to the Constitution are removed from the books once and for all. You’ve got your public officials E-mails, get busy. I know people say it does no good. Fortunately it doesn’t cost anything buy a little time to give it a try.

Crazy, anyone can apply for a CCW here, but there are other unconstitutional laws in CA that are still being applied… ID check for purchases, fee for such check, Roster restrictions, 11% added tax, etc

If they did, you would receive a tax bill in the mail for NOT living there.
