You realize people haven’t gotten along since they were two people.
And when other people wish to kill us/me just because of where I live or for who we are, we are not going to be friends.
Just because somebody’s not my friend and does not make them an enemy.
So, why do we need to be friends with someone who may not like me /us or someone I /us do not like?

Yes I do try to make friends with people that want to do me harm so they won’t want to do me harm. I carry weapons to protect myself. If I can’t make friends with someone that wants to harm me it is because they want to be harmed. Why else would they be taking the chance of trying to harm me or murder me? We as humans do not know how to deal with death. The way it was explained to me was when G-d created us we were not supposed to die. The first sin change all that.
