Two National Guard Troops shot in D.C

You realize people haven’t gotten along since they were two people.

And when other people wish to kill us/me just because of where I live or for who we are, we are not going to be friends.

Just because somebody’s not my friend and does not make them an enemy.
So, why do we need to be friends with someone who may not like me /us or someone I /us do not like?

Why do you need to carry guns, knives , pepper spray or anything else, you should just make friends with them

These are things that are very interesting to me and thing I have thought about a lot.

This is true and they are more likely to not become your enemy if they are your friend. The answer to why IDK. Yes I do try to make friends with people that want to do me harm so they won’t want to do me harm. I carry weapons to protect myself. If I can’t make friends with someone that wants to harm me it is because they want to be harmed. Why else would they be taking the chance of trying to harm me or murder me? Besides I love, love more than I love hate. I hate, hate toward people. I hope this explains it. If not feel free to ask.

Other individuals may not feel like you do they do not hold your beliefs and they don’t care if you have a friendly demeanor.

I like your little back paddling There’s no need for you to be carrying any weapons or tools for self protection or whatever you wish to call it , you know because you’re friendly.

It’s simple human nature.
The facts are, no we can’t all get along.

Ps
Chimpanzee troops engage in genocide, ancient humans engaged in genocide, Native Americans practiced genocide—human history is a record of constant warfare. The Old Testament of the Bible is full of suggestions like the following: “When you capture a city, put to the sword all the men in it…utterly destroy them…save alive nothing that breatheth…As for the women and children, you may take them as plunder for yourselves” (Deuteronomy 2:10–20). In the history of our species, we never have gotten along.

I facts can change. The facts do change. It takes faith not facts. The power of positive thinking is a very powerful tool. All things are possible. The facts are we can’t all get along all the time. When we can we should.

I am sorry you see it that way. The truth is we have gotten along. Not all the time. We won’t get along if we don’t try. Good men never stop trying.:+1::heart_hands::folded_hands:t3:. I am not dead yet.

You cannot change the leopards spots or the tigers stripes or the sheep’s wool.

Just because we have opposing thumbs and the ability to reason doesn’t change a fact.

No need to be sorry it’s reality

So, your a racist. Just say it. Don’t try to explain it away as some sort of love of country.

I guess we have to agree to disagree. I am not too concerned with what I can’t do. I am more concerned with what I can do. Always look on the bright side of life.:kissing_face_with_smiling_eyes::kissing_face_with_closed_eyes: They are whistling emojis.

So, you’re an idiot. Don’t try to explain it away as being a leftist. How is it racist to state that Muslims don’t believe in our freedoms and our Constitution? When did muslim become a race?

But I’m not so sure the families of the guardsman would like to be told or hear someone telling them to look on the brighter side of life.

No fight. Just troll rolling, like talking to drunks, but not as entertaining. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

We as humans do not know how to deal with death. The way it was explained to me was when G-d created us we were not supposed to die. The first sin change all that. This initial act of disobedience in the Garden of Eden is believed to have broken humanity’s relationship with God and introduced death and a natural inclination toward sin for all their descendants.

I think the best thing to do is tell a white lie until they have had enough time to get over the trauma of death and then tell them the truth.

Excellent news for Mr. Wolfe:

Best thing that we could hear this time of the year. I keep coming back to wondering if he will become close, even inextricably tied, to the family of the fallen female soldier.

On a light-hearted note. I laugh at myself with embarrassment - when I write the word “friend” in a sentence, sometimes I misspell it as “fiend”. Spell-Check does not catch it - of course. Easy mistake to match, missing just one letter.

Further funny, instead of a friend, I make a mistake of a fiend. LOL. Present company excluded.

“ In December 2025, The Gateway Pundit reported on the shooting of two National Guard members near the White House that killed 20-year-old Army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom, and left National Guardsman, 24-year-old Air Force Staff Sergeant Andrew Wolfe, in critical condition.

The suspect, 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, entered the country under Joe Biden in 2021. Lakanwal has been formally charged with murder and other crimes.

Wolfe’s recovery has continued to move forward, and by mid-December, he was moved from the hospital to an inpatient rehab facility.

On Tuesday, Wolfe shared his first public message and thanked supporters for their prayers and support. He also shared his determination to work toward recovery.

Per West Virginia Press, Andrew shared, “I’m grateful to be alive. Thank you for your prayers and support,” Wolfe wrote. “It’s all been overwhelming and I’m trying still and determined. It’s been hard to go through something like this. Thank you for everything.”

His mother, Melody Wolfe, joined Fox News to share details about his recovery, saying, “He’s doing well. We’re a little over two months out from the injury and he’s, in my words, ahead of schedule.”

“He just finished a big milestone of six weeks of intense rehab, touching on things from physical therapy, rec therapy, to the big one, speech therapy. He is affected heavily by aphasia, which is a language disorder, not something I had ever heard of before this, but it affects your brain and memory.”

“He’s working through that with a therapist, and he finished an inpatient program, and we just moved him into a residential program on Monday. So that will be about 8-12 weeks, and he’s already seeing a nice change in him because it is kind of from a hospital setting to a more residential setting so he’s a little bit happier about that.”

Watch:

Wolfe is scheduled to undergo a cranioplasty (a routine skull reconstruction surgery) in early March.

US Attorney Jeanine Pirro spoke with Wolfe’s family and shared more about his remarkable recovery, noting, “the miracle continues.”
