Is there a group that gets together for conversation, possible trips to the range? New firearm owner in the area. I purchased a Glock 19 and have put a few rounds through it. Just went through the proceed for my CCW and permit is being mailed. Would like to talk safety, training, Glock specific training/instruction, carry in your vehicle (how to) what to do if places are posted no firearms. Travel outside Arizona, mainly Nevada, Utah and Idaho. Would also like to just get to know like minded individuals. As you can tell I have lots of questions.
Welcome to the community. My suggestion is to look for a club in the area where you live or area you are going to be in. Most clubs welcome beginners. That is how I stared. They are usually friendly competition.

Good luck, hope this helps.
Welcome to the community!
Look for a local online forum e.g. California has CalGuns.
Or, ask your FFL for info.
Find a local range and get involved in competition. No better way to learn skills and get together on a regular basis with like minded people. There’s also nothing going to get you more confident than going up against others in a competitive environment. No better feedback than seeing progress based on your skill improvement as graded against your peer group.
Welcome Joe.
I noticed in the state I’m in, the state NRA has some activities for engagement, not sure if AZ has one similar. Some cities have a pro 2A organizations.
The USCCA put me in touch with their local city chapter I can partake with. I regret my work schedule’s got me tied up. But looking forward to freeing up some time to connect with them.
@Joe260 Welcome to the community, hopefully some of us can answer your questions and a good way to learn from each other.
