Travelling to countries

I carry here because it is my right, I don’t feel what my rights are violated visiting other country with other firearm laws.
Their country, their laws.

Perhaps all depends how we were raised. I spent over 30 years in Europe without firearms and never needed one.
Here in USA, we have just different firearm culture, different thinking, different approach.
And I understand both points of view.

Right on, Scott. The questions matter.

Right on,Jerzy.

You care about the U.S. too much.

I would not either and I would not consider it a human rights violation if I was not allowed to carry it.

not TOO much… he just cares about the Country.
But it doesn’t mean, that other countries are worse…

Because it’s not a human rights violation.

That’s correct but other countries feel liberated by not carrying firearms for self defence. Burglary rates may be a little higher but as a whole, liberation. Not carrying firearms is a form of liberty.

As the RKBA is a Natural Right, any country violating that right IS committing a human rights violation.

In the USA you do not need to be a citizen to have the RKBA. Sadly, there are too many sheep walking around with both eyes and minds closed. The knowledge is there if only you chose to seek it out.

Abrogating one’s rights in order to visit other countries is a personal choice. And, no, other countries are NOT remotely close to being as good as the USA. Why else is everyone trying to come here?

I enjoy visiting other countries, and every time I come back, I am grateful and glad I live here.

If you feel that you do not need the right to defend yourself or your family you are welcome to liberate yourself by moving to another country.

Gun control countries have a right to defend themselves

A country not allowing its citizens to carry Guns Is NOT committing a human rights violation.

Yes, authoritarian countries can easily defend themselves from their subjects.

England,France and Germany are NOT authoritarian but democracies.

There is little to no difference between a “democracy” or any other type of government that takes away the rights of it’s citizens in order to protect their own corrupt self interests.

Self defence is a human right. Guns are not a human right.

Guns are a human reality. Criminals and tyrants will always use the best tools they can get their hands on to force their will on others. I am just asking for a fair chance to not be at their mercy.

Been to other countries… none that I have been to ever ‘felt liberated by not carrying firearms’.

The rights we have are inalienable, and are NOT granted by government.
