I think some of that comes from the way our Government treats the entire subject. Some religions/beliefs are protected (Muslim) others are fair game (Christian and Jew), attacks are protected by free speech.

My concern is what will our government do when those attacks by the protected isn’t speech only? The moslem religion is a religion of deception saying we come in peace, we come in peace. Then when their numbers grow, they are no longer peaceful and attack instead. A cpl examples is to look at France and England right now.

Fallen state of man has been greatly supported by the illness of the state of the church. And visa versa. Now I shall repeat myself. Greed is the #1 failing of humans. Driving influences are fear and sex. I have no shortness in the understanding of forgiveness only the lack of patience for the person(s) pretending to be Christians without the empathy of thy neighbors plythe. I bet your correct that the church has been supporting a community. I too have witnessed such. Only to discover it a ploy to cover other broken promises and misguided minds. I stand pat to the belief that a church is only as food as its congregation. Sadly the congregation is too often hurled down a path like lemmings. When half the population supports the lie then the lie becomes the truth and honesty is cast to the winds.

Just because a person says they are a Christian doesn’t mean they are. Many people don’t understand that. Also Christians aren’t perfect. We have to work to become a better person following our Lord and Savior. Everyone is at a different place in that work to be a better person. We have to accept them, forgive them and when possible direct them to a better path if they are willing to listen.

So now you have a new goal. Work on being more patient and showing a loving hand to direct ppl to a better path if they are willing. We plant the seed, god gives the increase. Once we have done our job leave it to god to do his job. Work on bettering yourself.

Gentlemen, gentlemen… I post an article about prayer being banned at a school board meeting to show the disdain by some regarding religion. I did not post the article to have an argument on tax laws. The IRS is currently strapped up for that sorta thing. Seriously though. We have come to a time in our society when principle is either ignored or banned from conversation. The point is, a person stands on principle or sells out for cash, power, and status. Example: Novak Djokovic. Winner of the U.S. Open who was previously banned from all tournaments because he would not get jabbed. He took a stand on principle, risking untold millions of dollars, his entire career, his status, and whatever else comes to a champion of champions. He put it all on the line. because he believed in principle and not his wallet. What do you all risk by commenting on these forums? A little criticism. Novak Djokovic risked it all. Say what you want. Post what you want. But stand by it. Even if you are criticized for it.

I have never understood why atheists or “Non Religious” get so bent out of shape when someone does pray. Why not laugh at them for believing, in your mind, a fairytale? Why do they have to shut down all forms of religion, especially Judeo/Christian faiths? Why does it bother them that much?
