āShould you fail to do so, your complicity with ongoing needless gun tragedies will lead us to consider further actions,ā the attorneys general letter states.
Further actions?
Iāll tell mommy that youāre not sharingš
If they implement, Iāll be paying with cash at gun stores.
Next thing they will implement is for gun stores not to take cash and you need a credit card to purchase a firearm. SMH. ![]()
My real fear, is, and you canāt put it past them, theyāll want a pound of flesh!

use your smartphone for your purchases. ![]()
Iāll be paying cash anyway.
It seems the credit card companies reversed course and will not implement the special code for gun stores and suppliers This turn of events did not please many on the left who were pushing it including the bank that holds most of their election accounts as detailed in the article. Once again, the free state of Florida and a few others caused the change in course by threatening to ban the use of the code in their respective states according to the article.
Yes, credit card companies, other than Discover, have said they were backing off on the gun code thing. But part of me says theyāll just slip it in the back door, and there it is. Aināt no telling with snakes in the grass.![]()
Discover backed down once they found out that the other companies werenāt going to implement them.
Yet.
Note that they said they were āpausingā the implementation of the codes. So thereās still a chance that they will use them. Just not at the moment. I think itās all going to depend on how the legislation in the states that are trying to stop them goes.
Yes Iāve heard that Wolfwalker, but at the same point , I trust them about as far as I spit into the wind.
But at the same point, my Visa card has a fraud alert that was set at $500 made a couple ammo purchases in last few months online. One was about $400 another like $350, got fraud alerts on both. Just for the heck of it bought some rugs for home, like around $400, nothing on my fraud alerts from cc. Go figureā¦
Cool. Didnāt know if youād heard the news (but should have suspected it since weāve all been paying attention to this).
And yeah, trust in the institutions, any of the institutions, is pretty much exhausted at the moment.
Iām anticipating either a quiet reversal of their reversal or, depending on the outcome of the legislation, the banks to go āOh, well, we did our own research and we found the the codes WILL have an impact!!ā : and then under their breath : āThe exact impact the gun-grabbers want!ā
