Supply Chain Blues

I wonder how many of those shipping containers stuck floating off shore are full of Magtech, PMC, PPU and other imported handgun ammo?

It’s probably mostly TVs, phones and a lot of useless Chinese made junk we don’t need. But if that photo is from off the West coast there might be some PMC or Russian ammo (contracted before Biden’s me ban) mixed in there.

Perfect opportunity for the country to wean itself of Chinese imports

Pretty sure the company is South Korean. Not sure if they have a US factory.

@Shamrock

In a recent interview between GunTalk and the CEO of Rock Island Armory, it was mentioned that ammo production has not stopped. What’s keeping them from reaching consumers is issues with shipping.

:cry: MAN!!! @Shamrock you are right! They do have a Texas plant but what I read was they tend to focus on “American cartridges” there. Something like the “Poontang Corporation” owns them. Highly rated but still…Not made here. Thank you for the answer.

I’m sure shipping is playing a role but I also believe that all the ammo companies are maxing out their production and still not meeting demand.
