We are surrounded by traitors selling our country to the highest bidder.
And a state dept. that allows it to happen, part and parcel of disarming America.
Some states are trying to stop it, but not enough.

I have a question for both John and BRUCE…
Would you not purchase from these manufacturer’s now?
I don’t buy these ammo’s but I probably wouldn’t now.

Your (and all you guy’s thoughts)?
I think this could be a water shed moment for these ammo companies if we thought they sold out
Sorry John292 not trying to Hi-jack this thread REALLY EXCELLENT BROTHER! I need to know!

The only one I have bought in the last 3 years is CCI and I have enough to last the rest of my life.
So I have not bought from any of the others in many years so… I don’t think it would matter one way or the other to them, I am almost sure it was factored in they would lose a certain number of customers. :man_shrugging:

I really don’t know what to make of this. I have purchased Remington and Federal a lot over time. I just don’t want to see the quality decreased.

I don’t know how Brother…I don’t mind admitting that.
I just never learned and I Trust(ed) most Ammo companies until now.

I’ll stick w/ LAX, Firearms depot (I buy their Hornady .556) and Norma
works for me also.

I think this may be an issue for us as all European ammo is going to wars over there.

To those talking about not buying ammo because it’s owned by someone in another country…do you also exclusively buy guns magazines optics accessories etc from US companies that are made in the US?

I’ve been disappointed by not all, but many Remington and Federal loads, so maybe new ownership might be an improvement.
SInce the shortages, I’ve purchased many foreign import brands of ammo because that’s what was available, aside from my handloading.
Some foreign brands—PPU and PMC and Magtech perform very well IMHO.
As far as production going to the wars, that would be inevitable no matter who owns the factories.
FWIW, Winchester and HSM ammo is what I usually end up buying, when I can (being in California and all.)

What were the Federal disappointments?

The aluminum case loads, in .45ACP in Federal. Defective brass .38 spls in Remington, which didn’t respond to my emails when I gave them the lot #s

I don’t just buy American Sir.
I’m not like that at all.
I have a Tokerev shottie
Mag’s probably from Mexico
I drive a jag and a Nissan truck

I am concerned that it was sold out by these companies to Czechoslovakia !
Why did they do that? THAT is my concern.

I mainly buy Hornady in almost every caliber I own. I’ll buy some cheaper target rounds from Mexico but almost every EDC weapons I own have Critical Defense or Critical Duty. I also use Hornady in my AR-15, AR-10 and AKs.

And … what can individuals realistically do about this? Nothing.

I’m just hoping this isn’t a prelude to “Hey, thanks for letting us by all these ammo companies. Now we’ll stop selling to the American people and instead, ship all the nice shiny new ammo to Ukraine . . . because lord knows they haven’t gotten enough “free” stuff over the last 1.5 yrs(ish)”

With the fact that the desiccate puppet in the Oval Office freezing all civilian sales from Lake City, this following on it’s heals makes me a bit nervous.

My first thought on this is, making gun makers and ammo makers eligible for lawsuits for some demented persons action using their product in an illegal act. Taking these businesses out of the country would eliminate this from being able to happening.
The problem then lays on importation into the country.
Dam if you do and dam if you don’t.

soooo, when you really need ammo are you going to care who makes a buck off it? as long as it works in the firearms you have when some whackos break down your door…
